First of all thank you for allowing me to post on this website.  It actually pretty hard to find website for the topic of OOBE and Astral Projection that is updated regularly.

I have been doing OOBE for a long time eventually crossing over to Astral Projection not too long ago.  Of course it's all been on and off.  I had some time off from work so I figured I should try some solely Astral Projection.  The first time I was taken to another world with an immense wealth of knowledge.  I even managed to bring some back but of course it was elementary things about Astronomy that I already knew.  I realized this when I simply looked at an article, just from a picture and knew every detail of what was being discussed all at once.  I even wrote 2 pages summarizing everything with math as well.

Lately I been working on calming my thoughts down to zero and seeing what happens.  I usually keep myself right on the threshold of astral projection and conscious of everything around me.  Of the couple of times that I did it there was someone knocking at my door.  At first it was a quiet and now it's a full I want to get in type of knock.  I had a lot of practice so I can usually shut anything out of my mind.  How this last time I made a room and was going to open up the door and I just woke up.  I was thinking about it afterwards and I think I stopped myself because I didn't know what I was going to expect.  Is there anyway to try to open this door and see who is on the other side without my conscious mind taking over?

Welcome to the Pulse and you're welcome for your kind words.
The door is an obstacle that requires opening, you should look at the feelings associated with the door, what purpose does it have, why is it closed and what needs to be done to open it?
The physical world mindset is to create a room with it then open it manually. This you have tried and it failed. The door itself is a representation or interpretation of a barrier that needs to be addressed. Can you recall anything else from this experience? If it wasn't a door, what would be another interpretation of the barrier?
From your post it appears you are about ready for many tests of your intuition and problem solving abilities. Many of us have experienced these in various forms. If you don't understand the problem fully, the same or similar experiences will repeat until its solved. At times the answers require lateral thinking.
Your example suggests to open the door, however, from your post, you know you can create anything with reasonable dexterity so why not dissolve the hinge pins so it falls?
There are some topics on these tests or simulations that can be found with the search box at the top of the pages here. Just push the HOME button first to search the whole site or you'll only search the section you're currently at.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.
