Its possible since your husband was already at work that the person that your mind made to be your husband was actually your physical body. I have read that if you have separated from the body but are still lying within your body that you can hear yourself breathing, etc and having to make a conclusion of what it is your mind can make something up that would seem reasonable. Another place I read that a person took their astral hands and were able to feel hair behind them. In the end they found out it was just their physical body.
Maybe you are right iamhere2learn.
The thing is that I touched his beard and his bold head with my energetic hand. For me it feel so true that my husband was there.
I hope to have another experience like this one just for double check.

My last proyection was a series of proyections, because everytime I was back in my body I conciously direct myself to go out of the body again and it happened at least three times.
The first time I went out by the bedroom window and there was a cowboy town with saloon, women, men, horses and everything. It was a small town with earth roads and close to the end of the road I walked by, there were two old ladies in a small house who point their fingers in my direction. I said hello and keep walking to the end of the road. When I was up to cross the town again I went back to my body.
The second time I went out by the same window but outthere everything was devastated. There were removed red earth and big rocks all over the place. A family person was there, obviously lucid, and I was surprised that she talks to me. I asked her what happened and she explained that a bomb hit right where the guitar was. After that we walked together and inpected the place. When I decided it was time to go I was back in my body.
This time I tried to fully awake, but everytime I move my hands it were my energetics hands the ones that moves. In one ocassion my energetics hands were holding a white ceramic pot and I decided to keep myself still until my enegy body enters completly in my physical body.

I then feel a strong drive for sexual intercourse but by the time I reach for my husband I just found his back as when he wants to sleep without been disturbed. I smiled and stay calm and relaxed in bed until I regained control of the body again and went up for breakfast.
The rest of the day I was happy and content.
This is interesting.
I had a similar experience about a week ago.
I was laying on my bed with my cat, I felt someone sit or lay beside me and try to strike up a conversation with me .
I acted like I wasn't listening.
They jumped playfully on my back and I told them to leave me alone (I wasn't in the mood, lmao)
They continued so I said " OKAY SERIOUSLY F-OFFFF!" (lol)
I went to the window of the room I was in and looked through it .
I saw a big landscape of green grasses, white buildings.
I felt as if I was on the largest lighthouse in the world, haha. I could see everything.
It was like a cowboy town almost, as you said.
I have a habit of jumping off high places while I'm projecting, so I jumped off.
I flew down and when I hit the ground, I didn't exactly hit it.
I just kept on going and going.
I saw molten rock and magma around me as I kept going.
Finally I thought, Okay time to go lol
I didn't wanna end up in the depths of hell or something, so I went back to my body.
Haha, I felt your experience was a similar to mine.
