Partial Exit???

This morning, whilst trying to have an OBE, I had a new experience. I've been having my body feel sort of tingly, then still and quiet, for a while now, and having seeing the blackness and then psychedelic patterns, but this morning my body felt more still and quiet and then after the patterns I saw like uniform mottles of blue. It's almost as if I knew I was just about to exit, but then my breathing got too erratic or strong and I came out of it and back to normal.
Does this sound like I was about to exit?

I always find my breathing distracts me from losing myself so to speak, and so I try to calm my breathing so it's almost unnoticeable that I am breathing in terms of my stomach rising up and down.

It sounds like you were hitting upon what we call Focus 12.
From there, it's just a matter of putting your focus into what you're seeing just a bit more... then in phasing terms, you would have phased away from the physical and into the non-physical.  :)

So yeah, while it wasn't a "partial exit"... you were close to projecting.  :)

That Focus 12 state is actually nice to just sit in for long periods of time.

Yes, it was a nice feeling; I was trying to remember to go beyond it and not get fixated on it! LOL
I also remember a feeling of the bed covers covering me. It felt like they were wrapping around me like I was being shrink-wrapped.

It's okay to fixate on it.  You can actually do quite a bit while in that state alone. 
And actually, I'd suggest learning to get to and hold Focus 12 for extended periods.  I've done it here at work while on my lunch hour... and it really refreshes and revitalizes me for the second half of my afternoon.  :)

Yup, that's natural as well.  At the Focus 12 point, you'll still have a very strong feeling of your physical body... your senses will be much reduced at this point now though, however, the feeling of your blanket being shrink-wrapped around you is more likely your physical body just relaxing fully and you're beginning to feel the heaviness of it.

And where can I find a list of the different things for the different focus levels? I can't seem to find them?
