During one OBE in my bedroom I was standing next to my physical and saw my cat sitting on my bed just watching me.
All of a sudden my cat became terrified as another strange ferocious looking cat entered my room.

In my over-protective manner I immediately acted in this way:

I grabbed the foreign intruder whilst mentally opening a portal on/in my bedroom wall and threw the cat into it with full force, then immediately 'sealed' the portal with a powerful gesture of intent and it closed accordingly.

This experience jolted me somewhat as it was very intense and like some kind of crisis so I got sucked back into my body.

When I 'woke up' I realised how odd it was that I knew precisely what had to be done and how to do it....as though I'd done it many times before.  :?:

Quite peculiar....

Another time when out of body I went up the hallway and my cat was on the chaise lounge. I approached and went 'Boo!' and she saw me and bolted terrified into the bathroom!

When I was back in the physical I walked up the hallway to get to the bathroom and there was my cat looking at me with googly, distrusting eyes, totally unsure if it was the 'real' me.
Ha!
I calmy talked to her and she relaxed after a bit....

That's quite bizarre.

Only because when I was projecting once (quite a while ago now), I was floating up the road about 10ft in the air (as you do) and I looked down and saw a cat.  We looked at each other and I contemplated saying "boo!" to it, just to see what it would do.

As it happens, the cat beat me to it and leapt into the air trying to swipe me with its claws.  There was no malice in its intentions - it was merely doing what a cat would do.  This took me so much by surprise, I jolted away from the cat and was instantly back in the physical.

I've no idea whether it was a physical cat or not - I'd never seen one like it on our road before.

Moral of the story - don't say (or even think about saying) "boo!" to cats when projecting!  :)

um this is a Wilde guess to what happened

but you say you where a aware that your cat was on the bed with you

well something like  this happened to me like i think when i was 3 and you know those Little thing kids bang a hammer with and they go in

anyways i was getting off topic so i had been sleeping and what had happened i guess is what you probably could call a AP or something any way next thing i remember is i was on my bed playing with my toy hammer and that thing you hit the hammer on and a snake came out from under the bed

of cores me being a guy i try to hit them snake and kill it i have no idea what i was doing but i won't go through the hole  thing i will just finish with the basics and anyways after fighting with the snake i woke up and there was a toy snake on my bed and now when i think about it i think that was the last thing i looked at before i went to sleep so this might explain what happened to you

my conclusion is that your mind made that cat as a protection maybe it was just a cat that was going to help you  and when you where thinking of saying boo to it it thought you where attacking it
