Just wondering if anybody has, or believe they have been to the 'Library' where the Akashic Records are stored?

If you have can you please describe your experience, and can you recall what the "Library" looks like?

Thanks! 8-)

I've never been there myself, but I've read about it in the "Through the Eyes of an Angel" book. Sadly I lost it on an airplane as I was getting off :(  But it seemed really nice. I would love to go there.

To the novice I imagine that the akashic records would be just blobs of colour fractal infomation, would look like a candy land of consiousness but if your skilled you could be able to manifest it into a libary and read books. Remeber you create it all.

Why would it matter if you are a novice or not? The energy is there independent of the projector.

I cant go there somehow

I tried this morning starting off from a dream:
I was starting to fly around, pushing myself off buildings and the feeling was very real. So then I told myself... well if you want to go to the Astral and to the records you have to leave this place. So I started flying higher and go scared. It was a dark/grey sky and I was scared of leaving the earth and unable to come back to it somehow. I was in a semilucid state I think... maybe fully lucid... I can't really say since I never told myself I was in a dream but I did realise that I can do whatever I want and that I wanted to go to the records (obviously this is a conciouss thought).

Anyways my last thought was: "I'd like to go to the Akasich Records please" and then I started going higher.... then everything kinda went black for me and I wanted to go back down into my nice dream since I could fly there etc. but I couldn't go back. I just got a last look at my dream like if your eyes are half way shut and ur looking at something and then I woke up.
I think next time I will focus my thoughts on something else before trying to reach that place and I will try to just "morph" there instead of flying upwards. I always get the same results when I fly upwards... sudden blackness, then a state where I can feel my body tingling, then waking up. I tried it twice so far.....

I think it happens because I am still in my dream and so my mind can't create another place which is outside the dream. For example the dark/grey sky was my boundary... in the other dream it was the roof of a closed basketball court.

The Akashic Records look like whatever you want them to look like to you. What I describe them as when I've visited would simply be my interpretation of them. Everything is energy and energy conforms to whatever image will make the most sense to you. Your mind tries to interpret the energy and if its similar to something it knows, like a library setting, then your mind will interpret it as such. It appeared similar, but different to me on two seperate occasions. So its all a matter of your mind and your perceptions.

I agree to a point. However, I would think the inverse of what you describe. I think people who are open minded are more able to perceive and understand abstract concepts/thoughts easier than those who tend to be more rigid in their thoughts. For this reason, open minded people would not need to perceive a library structure with a building, steps, books, etc. They would be able to see and understand the energy patterns of the akashic records in a more raw form. Whereas people who have a hard time grasping things outside their realm of knowledge/experience are more apt to have their mind interpret and conform the akashic energy patterns in to something that makes sense to them. So they will see a tall structure, with shelves, books, a librarian, etc. I could be wrong here, but this is how I would imagine the energy perception to work for individuals.

Reality is what you perceive it to be.

I actually did make to the Akahic records once and it did resemble a library.  8-)

To me it appeared as a series of large rooms with shelves on every wall with Greek pillars in the corners holding up a vaulted ceiling. It had the appearance of great age. When i visited the place the first room i entered there was a large wooden desk in the center with a single large book on it. I also noticed behind the desk stood a elderly looking man with grey hair and he was wearing what looked like to be robes of some kind. He didn't say anything but merely smiled at me. I didn't get to see what was in the book as i was unceremoniously woken by my dogs wanting to go outside.  :-(

This is best answered by someone who has had actual experience with the the pockets of informatoin themselve, because of a persons desire to see the library... it is often times not the library at all but a creation of the persons energy and desire and because of this there could be several false libraries on the plane.  You would really need to have someone that has accessed the information contained therein and verified it consciously.

In the same respect because of the nature of the astral plane and our perceptions as human beings what we see on the astral plane is very often not what is there at all.  We feel the energy it is giving off and immediately perceive it as its strongest quality... ie when you see a loving feminine energy you perceive it as a woman perhaps resembling a similiar loving figure in your life.  From what I have experienced in very passive journeys I would imagine the hall is perceived as pockets of information... a thought if you will.  Each pocket would be perceived by the entity as it were... an amount of information regarding an event containing all human perceptions within...

Perhaps a better question would be... how does an entity that has never known corporeal form understand the information that was perceived through minds of a mortal?  Answer me that.

I think I've mention this before in the past years but I'll paste it again.
This came straight from my journal.  I edited only grammar mistakes.  It's interesting how I called it "sleep" back then.  It Obviously because I had no idea that it was considered being in the astral.

I have no idea where I was in this dream, but I notice some horoscope signs on this....thing... it was drawn in gold and looked like old drawing style and there was a guy there.  I didn't know him and didn't have any kind of feeling towards him one way or the other.  I notice my horoscope sign and I reached out to touch or push it.  The guy to my right said, "I don't think you should read that"  I just totally ignored him, I don't think I even looked at him.

When I pushed this sign a scroll opened, but the weird thing was it seemed like it was on a big screen tv.  it's hard to explain.  The writing once again was old style and it was soooo small I couldn't make it out.  I was having a hard time focusing on the words and staying asleep.. I kept feeling like I was going to wake up and I didn't want to.  Some how I got the words enlarged and I could make them out, but that was only after the second try.  I still wasn't at the top of the scroll but I wanted to read anything.  The first thing I saw was a date of 210. and next to that I know there was a paragraph or two.. and I knew it was describing what happened in my life in 210.  I also know that I did read some of that but I was still struggling to read the words and not wake up, so I don't remember what I read.

The next thing was the date 1478, and I do remember reading about me being a woman who would sleep with kings or something and then steal from them.  I think I said to the guy who was still standing to my right, "I wouldn't do that"

I started to have the focusing problem again and I do believe that I woke up, well not woke up but sorta went some where else for a second.. felt like kinda waking up but I got right back there.  I think I missed some things while I was drifting in and out.  The last thing I saw was that I had 17 lives to live and I have already lived 11 of them.  At least that is how I interupted it.  Then I woke up.  It was an incredible dream.. The funny thing was I read my horoscope this morning and it said

I'd say this was my personal records.....

Nice story there TalaNay. I wonder if the big book i saw on the desk was about me too.  :-D

Hmmm okay, I feel compelled to mention this. I don't think I actually went to the Akashic Records, as I've never APed, but a few nights ago I had a very lucid dream in which I visited an incredible library. In the dream I came to realize that it was the Akashic Records...

During the dream I realized where I actually was, simply by reading the titles of the books. I can't remember many, but what I do remember was the books themselves... Different series had different designs. One series, the one I remember best, was called "Of Civilizations and Empires". There was a different volume for each major civilization, from the Romans, to the Greeks, to America, to many others. There were several dozen. Each book was black leather with ornate inlaid platinum designs, very intricate, reflecting the culture it was about. Down the spine of the book on Romans were various Roman warriors, and buildings, for Egyptians pyramids and egyptian gods all made of pure platinum, overlaying the leather. The actual words "Of Civilizations and Empires" and "The Romans" or "The Egyptians" were also made of platinum, in the same way.

I got the idea that these books were not, and could not have been written by people, rather it seemed that they had written themselves. I also felt that if someone of a different language - any language, even a non existant language, had read the book, it would have made sense...

There were many rooms to the library, with thousands (millions?) of books, and I felt as if I only saw a small portion of it... I opened some, and read a few words... They were about religions, cultures, science, art - nothing about specific people though...

All books were amazingly ornate. There was one that was at least 6 inches thick, the cover was red velvet with overlaid gold in geometric patterns. The pages themselves seem to have been gold leaf, but that's all I remember...

I remember one room in particular... Completely circular, the only room with no books, just a globe in the center. The lighting was dim. There were a few people in the room, and whenever anyone whispered something, it was magnified for all to hear. It seemed that no secrets could be kept in this room, if that makes sense.

Well... while I do think this was just a dream, I thought it might be relevant :-D
What is, isn't.

I think that was so relevant it deserved its own post, but hopefully enough people will see it here.

Indeed! Many fantastic stories here, very good thread. Wish I had something like that to relate.
