After of 1 year and a half of trying FA RA ON mantra , i foudn this site and tried different techniques , which i think are better.

A few days ago i was going to sleep , it was afternoon sleep , so i started to relax my muscles all over the body  . I did this for 30-45 without getting asleep [ wow ] when i felt a strange sensation . it was like a front/backwards up/down sensation in my eyes [ i had the eyes closed] then i felt my body , more accurately down from the neck , paralyzed .

Let me describe better this feeling . it was like i was still conscious i had a contact with the bed but i didn't feel it in the right way . I just had the touch sensation minimized ... something like that .

My problem comes at the other senses , which are in the head . After that i couldn't project and i sensed that my eyes were slowly opening . Its that sensation in the morning when u just wake up and see a bit of light trough the eyelids ... I shallowed and i was paying attention [ thought i didn't want to ] to the sound of the cars outside . It was like down from the neck i was in astral and the upper part was in physical .

After 5-10 minutes more of relaxation of head i tried the rope technique but i woke up in the physical ...

What am i doing wrong ?

PS : with FA RA ON mantra once i got to vibrations but it was different . then i felt my head also asleep and my concentration was somewhere else.. dunno how to explain that.

TQ

Let me maybe clarify this: once you have attained paralysis of the body, where do you go from there? Or how do you go from there?

Does anyone know?

Also, is there any relation between Monroe's Focus 10 and intentional relaxation to physical paralysis? Are these perhaps the same thing? (Which will then lead me to ask, how do you get from F-10 to OoB?)

all you need is mind awake body asleep; when in the necessary state you need to really think about moving to move

Mactombs,

Sleep paralysis of the body can be a real b*&^H to exit the body and escape. I know you've heard it all before, but sometimes when this happen you just have to go with the flow. The more you struggle, kick, scream the worse it will become.

I've been through this many times and its not pleasant. When you finally do wake, going back is questionable and can be scary.

What I've done is try to just relax, think of pleasant things, maybe try spinning around in circles and just roll out on the floor. Try to deepen yourself further into the trance state that your are on the edge of.

Sleep paralysis of the body is that both bodies atr struggling at the same time to take control and are fighting one another. The physical body is saying "hey wake up, come back" and the astral is saying its time to "exit". Both are negating the experience - its just a matter of transferring the shift of consciousness to the astral and allowing the physical surrender.

Dude, I so understand your problem. Fortunately I also understand the solution. Let's look at it from my position.

When I had those problems, it felt like my body was going somewhere without me. As if everything was reaching out to envelop something else, except for my conciousness, which never seemed to change.

Solution: Practice. After a little while the feeling was expected. Needless to say, I don't concentrate on it anymore. Here's where I pull out some understood-but-never-applied knowlege.

The important part is to observe, and move on. Right now it sounds like you're so caught up in the moment, your senses all suddenly jump in to action to asess the situation. It's only human. Exactly as it feels, you're starting to reach something, but your own state of mind is being an anchor.

My best solution without getting boring (AKA Practice practice practice) is to just enjoy the feeling. It's all messed up, and you're floating. Enjoy it, don't think about what's happening, just feel it. You know, like some hippie guy. "Woah, dude, I'm like, floating man! This is awesome. Better than that acid I dropped. Dude..."

In conclusion, your mind is going "OMG it's happening!" When it should be going "Woah, awesome"

If you're able to actually apply this, there's a short way. Stop looking so hard. Peacefully concentrate on an image in your mind as these feelings start to come over you. Imagine as much as you can about it. Doesn't have to be vivid, just don't concentrate on the feeling.

Most importantly, have fun. You have years left in your life to apply this. If you don't, well, all the sooner.
As it as written, now and forever shall be. In the name of the Stevo, amen.

its not quite paralysis . its something like it . i mean if i want in that second i can move my body but then i feel a tickle on it . the best explication would be : the sens of touch is greatly diminished . but my head remains so concious about the physical world .. i dunno what to do . I just relax my body . somnetimes i try FA RA ON mantra but i fall asleep

Interesant,

How long have you been trying to project? The best author to read IMO is Robert Bruce. He's very detailed, easy to understand the terminology.
I've conversed with Robert many times back in the days of pre-internet and he's a good guy!

When you do read his material, you might want to keep in mind that the techniques used are samples. It might take you awhile to figure out what works best for you. Just because

But in all honesty, you can't make the experience happen physically. Its not a wave of the magic wand and presto you're out. Its all done in the trance state - mind awake, body sleep.. Its tricking your body to fall asleep while your mind is awake.

Here's a post that I just typed that might help you out feeling the vibrations and exiting the body.

Interesant,
