Hey everyone,

So I posted a question on this guy's youtube comment area. The question was, " I almost always project after waking up for an hour or so and going back to sleep. The problem I always seem to have though, is that once projecting, the clarity is very poor. Everything appears very sepia like and I am feel as if i am not in complete control. Do you have any video's or advice you can point me to?"

His response was, "it sounds like maybe you're 'landing in the lower astral-ish'... so having a higher vibration when you get out would land you in a higher realm where there is more color and light. Soo, if you focus on your heart chakra, & think abt & focus on things you love or on being more loving, this can really help move you into a higher obe 'place'. I have used it myself. Use before getting out, or after you are out. Good luck, let me know if ya try it."

anyone have any input? Im definitely going to try this out though. For those who haven't checked out his videos, his username is Rich2150x and he has some great videos! check them out.

From my understanding, it is common to not have crystal clear clarity when first projecting. The trick to to stabilize the projection. William Buhlman suggests making affirmations such as "Clarity now." In my last projection I only had the sense of touch, but then I decided to focus on my hands until my vision appeared. My vision eventually came into focus, but I still felt dizzy - almost "drunk." In short, try making statements such as "I wish for clarity" and focus on certain things within the experience to hone focus and stabilization of the experience.

Thanks I'll give that a shot.
I've tried the clarity now technique, the only problem is that I usually cant mouth any words. I think I start trying to move my physical lips and I feel the paralysis.

Don't worry about mouthing the words, the thought is all the matters.

Can you automatically experience a higher plane, realm, or whatever by just saying "take me to my higher self" or what?

Because all my experiences have taken part just in my town, close to earth obviously. I'm trying to experience something else soon.

Someone help me! =D

I didn't read all other posts, so sorry if I repeat something someone else said- what you describe sounds like an etheric projection, aka and RTZ projection.  It's actually typical of it, especially if you're projecting in the morning.
You see, the RTZ is the energetic signature of the 'real world', and your etheric body is the mechanism in which you gather information- kind of like a radar (brings me to images of sonar or ultrasound)- the image gathered is not 'visual' because your eyes are not looking at anything- it is the information put together of what your etheric body 'bounced against- like radar'.

QuoteHis response was, "it sounds like maybe you're 'landing in the lower astral-ish'... so having a higher vibration when you get out would land you in a higher realm where there is more color and light. Even though this is not incorrect, I don't like the presuppositions in it- usually you need an energy body that is similar enough to interact with its environment and gather information, but the 'higher or lower' vibration is an interpretation, and it sometimes becomes judgemental, which is why I don't like it.

I haven't done this myself yet, but I've read it is possible. I have had success with "I want to see my spirit guide." You have to be very precise with the wording. One time I projected to the daytime RTZ and I said "I wish to see the moon." I meant that I wanted to actually go to the moon, but the scene simply changed from day to night with the moon in the sky.

CFT Traveler: Thank you for the response :). do you have any advice for not projecting into RTZ? It's all I've experienced and I would really like more control and a projection with more clarity.

Thanks,

Well, Firmitas, I am going to defer to a couple of people wiser than me, and one is Kurt Leland, writer of Otherwhere and Multidimensional Human, amongst other books.
He posits that usually you master a 'level' before getting to the next one, and if you explore and 'exhaust' the possibilities that are offered you in the RTZ, you will naturally begin to change the way you project.  Usually what will happen is that the quality of the projection will change, and it will seem like 'dreamlike' elements are beginning to 'intrude' in your space, like for examples things that don't seem to belong them (Robert Bruce calls them Reality Fluctuations, and Kurt calls some of them simulations.)
So depending on what exactly happens when you project, there are a few ways to 'upshift' (or 'outshift') if you like-
Explore your surroundings.  Look for things that 'don't belong'.  If a challenge is given to you (and this means anything, from an attack to a task to be completed, a door to be opened, a vortex to be jumped into) attempt to do it, and you may find yourself in another locale (now you're in an 'astral location/locale/focus') and you will probably have stuff to see there.
If you're not ready for the next (level or whatever) you may find yourself back in-body, or waking up.  This is fine, it just means you need more experience.

Phasing is a way to go 'straight to the astral', but it doesn't always leave you there if you're not 'ready'.
What makes you ready?  Theories abound, but I think it's personal, and I think the willingness to grow and explore is the major thing- and being able to handle fear is the other thing.  Fear happens more when you're beginning, and after some time it is not so much a factor.

I hope this was somewhat helpful.

Firmitas

Thank you CFT traveler that was very helpful actually :)
My projections are super fuzzy and lack control so I'm assuming that I'll just need more time and experience to master that plane first.
My trouble as of now is just maintaining focus in a projection, since they happen so rarely and I'm not always prepared for them.

In any case, thanks for the response!
