OBE

It all started out in a scary dream  , and there was this guy trying to shoot me. He was my friend and now he was against me. He was screaming for me to come back, while shooting his gun at me. It was scary. Then im running down the street ( this is happening in Mexico lol) and hes following me from behind. I yell help help!!!! and no one listens. Now for some reason this is the 3rd time I know I'm dreaming while I'm running in a scary dream. So I'm running and BANG it hits me. THIS ISN'T REAL! I'M LUCID DREAMING! immediately its like everything freezes. I try to stay lucid and its working. I decide I want to visit an island with mermaids lol ( I like any mystical creature that swims). My scenery started to change like a blob. Now there are smooth colors starting to from like green, light blue, sky blue and so on. But i change my mind and decide on something Iv been wanting to do in a long time.... OBE!  

So I concentrate hard, and in my mind imagining me APing. All of a sudden everything is like a wet painting and I feel my body buzzing.

When I AP, I don't have exit symptoms. I already find myself on top of my body. I see my fan and ceiling. I'm floating higher. I put my arm up and see a shinning tan arm  lol. I didn't stare at it to long, and it would probably start melting ( hands). So I decide I want to go to the ceiling. But i have to pass through the attic . So I put my astral arm through the ceiling and its very weird! But first i try to burn a hole in the ceiling and all i see is blobs of light. Then my whole body goes through. I didn't pay attention to how it feels. Then I'm in the attic and I see lots of wood. I decide maybe I should do the LBRP ritual, but decided if i was i should do it on the ceiling. So I go higher and my hand won't go through. Sometimes this happens. I was lucky i was able to leave my room, most of the time I'm locked in my room due to walls, until i notice the open door lol.

After that my OBE ends, and i slip into a vivid dream about the attic and me exploring it.

Hi Astralwych

That's great - thanks for sharing.  I used to get those "running away" dreams.  I remember one time when I was much younger I was being chased by some monster or other.  For whatever reason, I realised I was dreaming, so I turned round, made the monster stop in its tracks, and politely asked it if it would like a cup of tea.  Worked like a charm - the monster dissolved.  

I love the wet painting description.  It's strange how at times we go through walls/ceilings and other times we can't - even during the same experience.  Still puzzles me now!

Anyway, congratulations on the OBE - the first one is the hardest, so they say.  You are now more likely to recognise any "symptoms" and will be able to act accordingly - let's hope so...
