Right, so I've been trying to get an OBE for about 1 year and a half on and off.

I am using boxed nirvana 2 audio track, is this okay to use?

I began by slipping into bed and putting on the track (using headphones) I felt relaxed.

Instead of 'trying techniques' to get out, I thought I'd try it a different way. I'd try to get into a dream and then make myself aware in the dream, thus i'll be out of my body.

So, for about 40 minutes I was relaxing. I felt something in my hands and feet, I'm not sure whether they were vibes, it felt abit like pins and needles!

I let my imagination flow, I wasn't getting any strong vibes, the first time I let it flow (i don't know how it just happened) I found myself entering a dream, in a swimming pool or something then I said in my head 'WOW that was weird' and the same the second time. But twice this happened, the vibes in my feet shot up to my knees (remember im not sure whether they're vibes)

From then on I tried using techniques but I couldn't get stronger vibes.

I've had strong vibes and they've felt like waves like I was under a swimming pool but that was only once. The only vibes I get now is like shivers in my feet and and hands.

Help! What should I do in order to progress?

ABQ

You do what works for you.
Everybody has their own way of progressing, at a rate that works best for them.

Imagination is the best tool.
I like to visualize different places I lived and mentally walk through the rooms, around the houses, down the streets, in places I worked, places I would play, in the halls where I went to school, places where I hung out, places where I prayed and worshiped.

Reading books that involve use of your imagination by making you visualize scenes the writer is describing is helpful immediately before going to sleep.

And, breathing exercises pump oxygen into the brain for more lucid experiences also.
