Hi all,

So I have recently found my path of the skeptic of this all.

I am fairly far down the rabbit hole and have had numerous successful LD's and possible AP's. I have even helped others experience LD's. However, the big piece I am currently lacking is the evidence i am in fact outside of my body / in astral / etheric / talking to guides.

What are some verifying tests you have done to prove, or at least find out when you wake up, if you were in the Astral/Etheric?

I can't put out of my mind the overwhelming possibility that it is all my subconscious creating it no matter how enticing the conversations I have with the entities are.

Thanks,
Ryan

your subconscious is just every other mind in life so it will always be created by somebody

read here:

a little collection of validations via AP/OBE (not including NDEs and Remote Viewing where there you find fast evidence, too)

So looks like I just gotta do it myself if I want to believe at this point--makes sense--i think im there--just need to keep practicing -- lots of fun either way!

Thanks everyone

One of the things that helps - is not proof however - is continuity and coherence of consciousness.
No breaks, and especially a coherent stream of consciousness, even if the experience changes (the events). Not like dreams where you lose consciousness between scenes ..sometimes.

And try to visit someone and contact them. Even if they're asleep. You can speak with a portion of their mind, and try if you can to retrieve information from them you'll verify later, or impress yourself onto their consciousness and later find out if they had a dream about you.

Another thing I've heard is: look at your hands, then look around you, if the scenery is the same, you're not dreaming.

But I've done this during lucid dreaming, so I'm not convinced of how good that method is.

Mostly, a strong sense of awareness when out of your body is different from dreaming. It feels more real.
I would say prepare well, get into a trance, don't rush anything, and you might have a real ap.

Many of us have had validations- that is, we've gone out and seen things that were happening somewhere else.  The thing is, this isn't evidence in the scientific sense, and can't be claimed as that.
Since the information you gather when 'out' can come from many sources- your memory of the physical as well as your memory of the nonphysical, it is very hard (or near impossible) to say that everything you get is accurate or is happening somewhere else- so until you have the type of validation that convinces you that at least that time you 'really did go there and saw that' this will forever remain one of those unprovable things.
