Really weird projection experience?

Alright,
  So the other night I had one of those falling dreams, lately they have been a bit more intense than usual.  What was really weird about this one was that instead of my body jolting awake after the fall like it normally does, I just kind of laid there for a minute and could 'feel' my astral, (or maybe it was my etheric body) inside my physical body.  It was a really weird sensation, and I still don't think I'm fully describing it well enough.  I guess the best way to put it is my mind woke up before my body did, and I experienced an extremely serene form of sleep paralysis.  I can remember laying there, almost feeling like I was floating but not and hearing my thoughts echo while I was thinking 'This is really weird and really cool'  I eventually just slowly slipped out of it.  I was wondering if anyone has experienced something similar to this?

yeah dude. your mind is a beautiful thing. Cool experiences come out of it. Similar things happen to me alot. You probably could have astral projected at this time. Next time, pull out of your body. You were conscious of your astral body, just not moving it.
