I've heard songs in the astral that I thought existed in the physical plane but I've searched and never found. I even asked people in the astral the name of the song and stuff.
I get alot of inspiration from lucid dreams and astral projections and I composed a song with harmonies that I've gotten there.

Sure, I learn things everyday, but it's not like getting new ideas, it's more like acknowledging something that was there all the time but I wasn't still enough to notice.
I don't know what to say about whole new ideas, the experience itself totally changed the way I look at life and the world and the universe, really opened my eyes. And I've learned to be more tolerant and understanding, and to perceive how my actions affect the whole.

I am a wannabe writer, and from time to time I do "dream" up poems, but with very little recall. Once I even dreamt that I was holding a book in my hand and it had my name on the cover! I remember the design - this colourful print of some kind of tree - and that the title was two women's names "...... and .......". I was reading it and everything - but I couldn't remember any of the content after I woke up!

*SIGH*

hi guys ...

Andrew, i see what you are saying....I appreciate how you can feel your actions "affect the whole".

Meg - that's a real shame !!! its so annoying to lose memories like that !! I wish there was a way we could easily retrieve them !

I never had an OBE experience that garnered any great creative work in my real ife. Heck, most of my projections haven't lasted longer than a couple of minutes anyway.
But I occasionally have lucid dreams that have spawned scripts and novellas. And I'm not referring to brief dreams; I mean epic all-nighters that have me roll-playing as some character in a story that has elaborate plot elements and all. I love those.

I have often had experiences in which I suddenly become lucid in a black void, and start hearing the most incredible symphonic music.Itjust goes on and on...all the while I am thinking "damn,I wish I could just remember all this, and white it down!",but there are just to many layers happening at the same time to remember it all. What a fantastic, frustrating experience...

The musical conciousness is mind beneath the sun.

Hello Mark,

What technique did you use to remember the music? I heard some music the other morning while in the state between dreaming and waking, but I couldn't remember it after I woke up.

Also, could you create an mp3 of the music you heard? I'd love to hear your astral-inspired work.

Take care,

Hi Ladies and Gents,

I'm a keen guitar player and a wanna-be "pop star" at heart....and sometimes you struggle when it comes to writing a tune.

I've had a few lucid dreams where I've found myself in a music store / library, and in those situations, Its been easy to open up a mystery book of music, and "play" the tunes. On one occasion, I awoke and could clearly recall a brand new song that I had "heard" within the lucid dream environment.

Does anyone else have any similar experiences ?

I'm not just talking musically here...I'm interested in how anything gained from the astral has had an impact on the physical....
