Wow, that's a good one. When you get the paralysis, and you evoke the fear emotion, you can just about think up anything and it will be absolutely horrifying.

The scariest thing I ever saw was a cadaverous hag with a purple beehive hairdo and white energy streaming out of her eyes. She did not want to be bothered! I jumped back into body, but I'm sure if I'd just went on my way, that would have been that. Things that are scary are usually just posturing to say, "leave me alone!"

Scariest things:

Whilst getting out of body have beings come up behind my head and scream (a god awful sound) in my ear.

Once while in the astral I was exploring a ruin and saw a black cat, so I went and picked it up to stroke. It started nuzzling my neck and then bit it and stuck there. My vision started fading and this cat started to grow as it seemed to suck out energy, turning into a increasingly large black 'blob' at my side. It was there for a few weeks until I learnt how to get rid of it (this is my only bad experience with a neg).

One strange experience which I really have no explanation for is:

Around 1998 when I was in trance attempting to OBE I decided to ask for help. I sent out the intention that I wanted help to achieve my goal of OBE. Nothing happened during that session, so I got up, put the TV on and wrote up the experience in my journal.
In the distance I started to hear something which sounded like a plane coming closer, the rumbling continued to increase until it seemed quite close. The noise seemed to be a deep vibration, I could feel the hair on my arms and legs vibrating due to it, and the roaring sound it made seemed more to be a vibration of the eardrum than the air transferring the sound into my head.
This noise kept increasing until I had a deep vibration throughout my body and the sound was amazingly deep and loud (seemingly just on the edge of hearing). I could feel it in every fibre of me, and see its effects on my body, including the hairs being moved by it. The source of it seemed to be directly above the house. I ran to the window to see if I could see anything, but really started to panic, thinking of the stories regarding alien abductions etc. The sound must have had a psychical source as it was affecting the physical.
I couldn't see anything above the house (due to the angle of my view from the window), the sound stayed for around 2-3 minutes, and then started to move away into the distance again.

To this day I have no idea what this was, I was fully lucid at the time, and could see the 'vibration' affecting physical objects.

Scariest thing for me was having my ankles pulled on...ok, I asked for help but sheesh, I didn't expect it in that form.  :yikes2:

i've had sleep paralysis before, definately the scareist thing to happen to me.

well... my boyfriend and I were chillin on his couch and we started to look into each others eyes. I left to...another realm and could feel all kinds of sensations. My boyfriend stayed in the apartment but while looking at my face, he said he saw a bunch of peoples faces come out of mine and then three demons come out. I felt the demons bad sense and felt like he was attracting me too him. When I pulled away from him, he jumped around my face and then I could feel my boyfriends presence and the demon went after my boyfriend as I felt my way back to my body. Even though I couldn't "see" anything, The feelings I felt described what the demons looked like to my  boyfriend and said that was how they looked in his apartment.

I know you all will laugh, but this really did happen to me in an ap about 9 years ago.

Anyway, I saw on the news a group of people committed suicide because they thought they were going home to an alien god. I think it happened in Calif.

I fell asleep on the sofa shortly after watching the news. After the report of these people. I woke in to obe. I saw myself on the sofa. I got up and walked around and then noticed a bunch of people sitting in rows of chairs. They were all looking at this strange man with a hooded cape on. When he turned to look at me I noticed he had 3 eyes. I remembered the alien suicide report on TV at that moment.
All the sudden this 3 eyed man touched me. I then felt this lump growing out of my forehead. I touched it as it kept growing.
It was an eye. I got scared, I thought,"OMG, I do not want an eyeball in the middle of forehead."
I then tried to squeeze it out, like a zit. It took a few times, but it finally popped out. I had it in my hand. It was an eye. Blue to be exact.

that's freaky. i never knew whatever you think about happens in an OBE. i thought they were uncontrollable. you should have tried thinking about a sword coming down and destroying all of them or something like that.

ya my boyfriend saw all the faces and the demon's coming out of me in the apartment while I was in their realm feeling everything that was going on.
