Couldn't speak

I have now had the second astral projection, where I forced myself out of body upon waking from a lucid dream. Both times, when I tried to speak it was impossible! It was as though my lips were sewed shut, or rocks were in my mouth. Strangely enough, on both occasions, I tried talking though words would not escape my lips. Although, as if on time delay, both times I heard my voice saying clearly and loudly what I attempted to say, several seconds before. When my AP's are not forced, I have noticed they are much more peaceful, and speaking comes with little difficulty. Is this normal? And is there are reason for it?

This could be that you weren't supposed to talk. You were supposed to just listen and observe. When I first started to AP, the first thing my "Guide" said was to "Just Observe,  there will be plenty of time to interact and ask questions later"!  :-)

Thank you Lionheart, I was assuming this might have had to do with forced exits...Though maybe not. As I posted earlier, I am just now starting to have AP's again, after  a dry spell. Earlier on, I was experiencing  OBE's where I floated out of body, but lately, have forced my body out during lucid dreaming. For whatever reason, these experiences have been less peaceful. Maybe you are right though, and I need to remain quiet and just observe.

Another point to take into consideration is that you essentially have no larynx or voice-box... no air to vibrate it... no lips or tongue to form words when the non-existent air moves past them. you are nonphysical. Also... if you try to use physical reality physics to perform an action in the non-physical you can come up against a brick wall... such as 'flying' and 'running' and like this 'communicating'. At the end of the day though... performing whatever tasks in the nonphysical is natural to us... we just need to understand a way of accomplishing them when we are conscious of them. After all... you/we never run across these problems when we dream.

This is most likely the reason why a lot of the NPR communications seem to be "Telepathic".

Definitely.

It makes you realise how slow communication is in this constrained reality.

Also... spoken word can be easily mis-read or taken the wrong way and can prove to be the start of wars in some cases.

It's as if obstacles are put in our way to be conquered. It's like a perfect game with very high stakes...

Stick us all on a ball floating through space... separate us off onto isolated land-masses so that we create different beliefs, ways of life and languages... give us all the motive to survive and make us clever enough to invent ways of destroying each other...  GAME ON!!

The aim of the game... to love each other and find balance.

How are we doing at the moment do you think?

That's a different thread altogether.

Excellent points! And so true, we do not have these issues when dreaming.

I think that's it! I have heard on the astral realm communication is mostly telepathic. In my case, I was trying to say clarity now, since I read several times it helps to say that when you wan't to see more clearly. It's just that on both occasions, I heard with my ears, what I couldn't say with my mouth, a few seconds later, and it was my own voice. Ironically, things did become clearer in the room afterwards.

Well said.

This happens to me all the time. I learned not to talk and if I need to I learned it's all telepathic. I also tend to get dual awareness and will find myself in my astral body breathing through my mouth feeling my physical in bed at the exact same time. Can't breathe through my nose... but only my mouth haha. If this happens try and get further away from your body. For some reason when you get close to your body while out some funny things can happen.  :-D

True, I try and get as far from my body as possible, out of fear I will be pulled back. For this reason I have never even tried to turn back and look at myself sleeping. I just try and get out of my bedroom as quickly as I can.
