Your sensations?

I would like to know people's personal sensations that are felt while AP'ing or trying to.

For the past couple of night, my jaw has ached extremely badly for some reason. I also feel like people are grabbing and pulling my legs and feet, and sometimes like somebody is bending my feet back through the bed, to the point that it hurts. I hear what can only be described as what it would sound like if iron was screaming/yelling, that's part of the hallucinations lol
Also after I get the vibrations (even if it's pitch black) it's like somebody turns on a lightbulb right infront of my eyelids, then shapes start to form.

What are all of these?
And what sensations do you experience prior to AP'ing?

missym,

this morning upon exit my ears made a rather pleasant "wrooooooom" and this was actually a physical sound that my eardrums produce when i tense them. So I think this was a last thread of attachment to my body snapping.

I believe many exit sensations are the result of one being tugged both ways into the body and out of the body at the same time to various extends, on one hand he is transfering himself outside his body, on the other he still has some attachment to his body that is holding him back.
I believe the vibrations may really be a result result of such fluctuations.

I get a lot of floaty feelings and tingling/pressure in various energy centers.  At some point I will often feel a rapid heartbeat.

Only once have I ever really heard anything that I couldn't attribute to an outside source.  I was performing some mental action and a female voice said, "YES! Continue, Continue!", which freaked me out so I stopped and she said "No No NO! You are nearly there, continue!"  I took the advice and was out of the body moments later.
be awesome.

I don't get any physical sensations. No vibrations, nothing. I just float up and out very easily. I sometimes hear a distorted voice on my exit, but that's pretty much it.

The only sensations I regularly get are a strong, constant falling sensation, then nothing, then a strong rising sensation. After the rising stops, I either have no awareness of my body, or very weak, fuzzy awareness and a feeling like it is somewhere behind me. Usually, after a couple minutes after the rising stops, I see blobs of light form, disappear, reform, and disappear, until they eventually start forming images.

I get no sensations whatsoever either.  I will simply start 'seeing', and realize I got vision, and then I'll do an exit technique, or I'll 'feel' the movement and go with it.  But mostly, there are no sensations, just the realization that I am laying there with my eyes closed and can see.

CFT, I haven't yet experienced this astral sight bit.  I've spent time trying to, but as yet can't.  Is there anything you do or don't do to get to that point?

Nothing in particular- I generally follow the same routine when I try to OBE on purpose, but I think astral sight is one of those things that 'just happen'- I can't really attribute it to anything I do.  In fact, I've had astral sight episodes as long as I can remember, long before I even thought of adopting any discipline, long before I  became aware of what's supposed to be possible and what's supposed to not be possible.

Thanks for the responses! :-)

I thought everybody(or close to it) experiences a ton of sensations.. Hmm maybe I'm focusing too much on the feelings.  :|

What does the actual separation feel like? I think I've felt it in my lower body but not entirely sure..

For me the actual separation just feels like my consciousness floating up above my bed. Or if I just roll out or stand up, it feels pretty much identical to ACTUALLY rolling out of bed or getting up, to the point where I sometimes wonder if I'm astral projecting or just getting out of bed.

At first, most do.  But as you get experience they become more subtle, until they just don't happen anymore.

Fireworks aside, like floating.
