First all I would like to say that I am a strong believer in the other side of reality. And the only reason I am posting here is to gather feedback from others with similar experiences.

As a species we tell stories about our experiences and how they are interpreted after certain life events.  So in my opinion experience normally relates to truth.  Not cold hard facts, but absolute experience.

As a child I would experience lucid dreams that usually involved flying, manipulation of environments, certain events that happened prior, minor sleep paralysis, vivid nightmares, etc. This happened every single night to the point where sometimes I feared sleep and would stay up for over 30 hours just to do so without dreams.  When researching then, I came across information that relieved me somewhat in that in would ease over time.  Through the years I became more spiritual, and as is my right I will not mention my beliefs other than that, and came to look at the ability as a gift.

Then, when it was suppose to stop, it got stronger.  Instead of lucids, I would vibrate, and pulls myself out of my sleeping position.  Just into the room I was in.  Anytime I looked in my direction I would immediately be pulled back to sleep and dreams and subsequently doubt on the subject.  Being a somewhat reclusive teenager at that time, I never knew others experienced this phenomenon. I never even knew scientists had studied it. This increased my curiosity more. I would find myself in various locations I never knew existed, and even at peoples houses I had never been to prior.

But, they were all still dreams. There is a foggy haze that engulfs my vision whilst dreaming. This is how I distinguish dreams from "walking."

Then the most peculiar things happened.  I was battling certain things that many scoff at when I mention.  After, defeating them with help, I exploded, or felt like I did.  I was awake.  Or felt like it. But I was naked.  And I felt like I was a little kid again.  But the sky was blue, and an unseen sun covered my back with it's warmth.  The grass I pulled my face from was as real as the grass outside, just more vibrant.  It didn't itch, but it cracked under my movement.  I lifted my head and saw a vast green field upon rolling hills.  Atop the first hill sat a tree.  It branches wide, full, filled with leaves.  I was in awe.  And I wanted to stay in all my nakedness and splendor.

I went to stand, and I was back in a cold, dark, room laying flat on my stomach in a puddle of drool.

Research led me to many astral techniques, and I found one that works every time.  I was addicted at first, but didn't know what to think.

Since then a myriad of things have happened, spiritual growth, spiritual downfalls, understanding, doubt...But there are a few things I would like to discuss in greater detail with someone who has experience with this strangeness.

Like, why do I wake up famished after every flight?
Or, has anyone else seen blue shimmering angel like things floating down their streets?

I figured more advice would have come already...

In the beginning I was always at my current abode, or a loved ones abode when I would do it...Like I said, I am still slightly skeptical about all this...I don't fear, with my beliefs it was easy to get past that, I can do it almost at will when aware and relaxed...

It still never ceases to amaze me at the people who managed to progress so far with out the help of forums or books :) i respectfully have different opinions on certain matters. I would have sleep paralysis daily at the age of 18 (21 now) with out a clue what it was so I cannot imagine what that must of felt like congrats on your journey though and i look forward to future posts. Sorry i cannot add any insight.

I also wake up famished after an intense night of travelling, my hunger can be almost unbearable, like i have not eaten for "days".

I believe we all see entities in the form we choose to see them,

I used to take on many forms in my travels, but now i mostly take on the same form, when i first become aware each night, i watch myself "morph",
First i see my veins pumping multicoloured stunningly bright "blood" around my "body" which then transforms me into a light being, with no "real shape" to my form,
I always travel in this form, but i know others i meet do not always see the form, but see me how they choose.

Looke...It's okay just replying without skepticism( or crazy looks) is enough for me.  I think I came here for reassurance that I am not loosing my mind...And although entire group craziness is a possibility.  Is it really crazy that people worlds apart experience the exact same thing?  Well, to me, in science it is called fact if something similar can be observed under different conditions.  Good luck with your journey's....

Sun...I have never seen my spirit form.  When I do pull away from the scenery enough to notice I just see a more fit version of myself...Waking up, fully energized and craving five plates of food when the night before I ate till busting...Usually the next day my stomach is sour, but after these nights...I feel healed or something...I waved and called out to the light and it seemed intent on where it was going...I laughed and tried to fly after that...Can only hover...Also anytime I look anywhere near my physical direction I get pulled back...One time I could see the room out of one eye, and outside in the yard with my other eye...That was crazy...

Could the hunger be from using so much energy?
I also seem very aloof and "adhd'ish" since I "zone out" at will, which also helps a lot in regards to meditation and such...

Once I started reading up on it the walks became less frequent but last longer and are more vivid...I still await the day I go back to the grassy hillocks and that tree...

Few more...Can't move through walls unless I don't think about it...I always have to take a door, or a window, to get outside...

I stayed inside once and called out to "anything" that might be malevolent in my families house(to rid negative energies)...Nothing showed up instantly and I went about my walk...I went to go check the card I have in a windowsill...Couldn't find it...Came back to an empty room could still see clearly and my sleeping chair was gone along with my body...I was then wearing strange garb and found myself in front of a man sitting in an Eastern Meditation position...I kneeled, confused, but I knew I was supposed to be doing so.

I can't remember what was said but he knighted me before he changed into a golden dragon that kissed me on my forehead and said, "RISE!"

I did.  Woke up and my forehead tingled for days...Being a Westerner who always regarded all dragons as SERPENTS I don't understand this...Do guides always appear as something you enjoy, or is everything a TEST?

The dragon in China means power, strength and good luck.

The dragon in christian symbolism means serpent/beast/devil.  The "mark of the beast" is received either on the forehead or hand.

In my opinion, if your "gut" tells you the meaning, then go with it.  Just don't be in a hurry to pledge allegiance to some entity or voice that tells you it's a guide or gives you information.  There are people in the physical that lie and manipulate and there are people in the astral who do the same.  In short, be a loving, kind, positive force out there.  But be discerning!

What's the technique you found that works every time?

For me it is the WBTB(Wake back to bed) method...I figured it out on my own...After not having them for a few months I realized every time I got up, used the restroom, and went to lay back down I would experience SP...Since it no longer scares me it is pretty much cake to get vibrations while in SP...

I did google dreaming definitions, mythology, etc, and came to these exact conclusions way prior to the dream...I could jokingly follow the rules of dnd's chromatic and metallic dragons. But I doubt those hold any real significance other than game rules...

I haven't really experienced any guides or messengers as I have serious trust issues, so even if a good guy showed up I doubt I would listen to them either...Sigh...I see people over there just unable to communicate with them...I guess because I actually try to vocalize instead of with my thoughts...

Thanks for the info...
