Let's say when you AP to someplace, for example school... and your friends are there and they talk to you.  Did you imagine that or are they really there talking to you...?

It depends if they remember speaking to them or not :) My experience of speaking to other people in the RTZ is that it's a form of communicating with their subconsious minds.
