Title: Specific Question
Post by: Bweep06 on September 17, 2011, 16:22:39
Very simple question. During astral projection, does time slow down or speed up? I've feel like that there is no exact law of time for the astral. Any answers of maybe experiences?

Nobody can truly know for certain.
Some people think there's "no time" in the non-physical... others think it's slower or faster... and yet some others believe that each 'reality frame' has it's own scale/measurement of time.

Who knows really.  :)

I believe that there is no linear time, but that the future, past and present all happen at the same time. This means there is no time, but only duration, which is highly subjective.

Astral time seems to be a lot longer than it is here in the physical. In actuality it probably fluctuates. Time isn't "real" so it could either be perceived as slower or faster.

I guess there is no definite law of time while APing, idk ive had times where 5 minutes seemed to feel like 30 minutes, then other times where 50 minutes felt like 3. I want to figure it out, I'm still learning how to control how to AP. I've done it so many times though :).

People report both but I think the most common experience is that a one minute projection feels more like 10 minutes or longer. I think even Robert Monroe described very eventful projections that would seem to require almost an hour to complete but then he returns to his body and checks the clock to find that about 7 minutes elapsed.
