I still have not been able to project while awake. But I started practicing my meditation again working on the concentration exercises. What keeps happening to me is each night as I start drifting off I will start seeing all of the imagery and colors and things moving around and flashing and I keep hearing the vibrations. I'm getting the vibrations every night and sometimes during the day when I meditate, and I think I'm about to project and I wait for that "whoosh" that used to happen when I was asleep, but then I become alert and it stops. I even had a tingling sensation all over my body when I opened my eyes. Last night I had justed drifted into a dream and then I heard the vibrations getting louder and all of a sudden I heard these voices, men saying something then a women's voice but it made me become alert and I lost it. The voices were crystal clear and I know I was not asleep. What is also strange is during the last couple of days I am noticing that high pitched sound in my head louder and louder (while I'm at work) and yesterday and today I felt this overwhelming warmth around my head. It hit me suddenly while I was at work siting at the desk. It felt like someone turned on an electric heater and aimed it at my head. Are these sensations normal and does it mean I'm getting closer?
Also I've been having strange encounters. Yesterday Iwas on the bus reading Adrian Cooper's book and this old man got on and sat next to me and out of the blue (he could not see the cover of the book) he quoted to me almost word for word something I had just read. Then he said, "it's difficult to comprehend, but fits you like a lock and key". Then he got up and exited the bus. I was blown away. This happened in regular waking hours, not a dream. What's going on?
Enjoy it as it comes. Awaken I would call it.
About the heater into your head, I had that once too. Don't know what it was. All I can say is to stay calm, be patience, and enjoy the ride. Take it as a state you have to experience in order for you to start projecting. A learning curve I might say.
Cheers, and have fun with it ;). Even the voices in your room, just hear them, you know what they are. Get use to them, then forget about them. It's just another step.
Cheers!
Practicing at night is much harder. Try in the early morning instead, when you're well rested!
