Posted in OBE as well since I do not know who reads what.

I wanted to let everyone know that I have very much enjoyed all the posts, insight, and education I have gotten over the past weeks.

I was somehow drawn to search on the internet for such topics, and I found myself here. It may have stemmed from me exploring my very early stages of teleK abilities.

Anyway, I have been trying to project for a little while, and I seem to be having the same issues as a lot of others. I have read all the facts, books, and scoured the internet in search for that one thing that might get me over the edge and out! I still have not found it.

I can relax very easily and quickly, and can get almost paralyzed. My biggest issue is I dont seem to be able to get out. Sometimes no matter what I try I just lay there. Recently, I know my body is asleep, and my mind is awake, but then suddenly, I hear myself snore, and I get back to the same state. CAN ANYONE please help me? What am I doing wrong or not doing right?

Also, Can anyone tell me what the difference is between Lucid Dreaming and Astral/OBE?

Thanks so much to all, and I wish everyone the best.

Regards,

Dave

Heyo. I havent had an OBE either  . Ive been tryin really hard though. But to answer your question aboute the lucid dreaming and OBEs, I think lucid dreaming is when you are in controll of a dream and OBE is when you mind leaves your physical body.

Astral Is What I am after then.  Thanks for clarification.  Any help from anyone would be appreciated.  I am literally driving myself MAD.

I've come across this before, I've been asked this before, I've experienced this before. You're not doing anything wrong, you're just obsessing over separation. Instead, try relaxing, try flowing into the state, let go of your physical limitations and notions of a physical body.

OK, Stupid question then.  When I become alert again, mentally, becuase I all of sudden hear myself snore, what do I do?  I think I may have been totally asleep at that point.

Thanks

WeaAreOne, welcome to the forums!

I've often pulled myself out of trance by my own snoring.  What I do is just get right back into it.  Treat it like those cob webby things...scratch and continue.  The only thing is do not move too quickly...move slowly, very slowly.   I've actually said a few words while in this state. It sounds like I'm under water or covered in cotton, but it did not disturb how deep I was under.  I had to learn this due to having my youngest whom kept on bothering me while meditating.

PS.  Just wanted to add, consider yourself lucky that you are waking yourself up with snoring or else you WOULD be asleep.   Part of you is staying alert and that is exactly what you want.

Thanks very much.  About to try it for the first time today.  So, Where am I at when I do wake myself up?  Am I almost ready?  What should I do at this point?

Thanks
