Okay, I just got finished having another OBE!

I was on my bed tired because of some morning work. Suddenly I felt the lifting and vibrating feeling and realized that I could try to have an OBE. Within a matter of minutes, I felt myself falling in and out of consciousness and then rising up to the ceiling. Due to the shock, fear, and utter oddities of my previous OBE, I decided not to be scared and see what my 'astral body' was capable of. It was probably the most exhilarating experience of my life! I shot through the window and felt an odd strong energy, maybe it was male but I don't know ( what do you make of it? )  and into the neighborhood, then the sky. I was flying! Up and down and around, like Superman!  I came upon the courthouse. "THAT WONT STOP ME!" I thought. "IM GOING RIGHT THROUGH IT!" I was wrong. I was sucked back to my body with such force that  I jolted the bed.

Hi AmericanIdiot

Thanks for sharing this - and good for you not being scared.

Feeling/sensing energies is normal when out of body.  I don't know how it's done, but I too can sense gender and a general age most of the time, and also I get a feel for whether they are friendly or not.  Most often with the energies I sense, they are doing their own thing and are not particularly interested in me, so I tend to leave them alone and get on with my projection.

These experiences ARE incredibly exhilirating.  There's something so gobsmackingly amazing about being outside wandering around or flying, when you know, without a doubt, that your physical body is inside on the bed.  And, just to reiterate, you know you are not dreaming.

Keep sharing them with us!

We all find nonsenses to believe in; it's part of being alive.

Haha, that sounds awesome. I can tell you why you didn't make the building though.

When people learn the concept through OBE, the idea of not actually existing isn't commonly taught. You are told "You move with your soul" which is all fine and dandy, but how limited are you? In order to find the answer to that, it's probably a footnote in a big book of everything Astral.

When I was little, I would have lucid dreams where I challanged everything. If I ever had a doubt, or couldn't envision what I was about to do, it wouldn't happen. Same thing with the building. As you said, you were going to go "through" the wall. What does going through a wall look like?

It's easy to fly, since we can envision that with birds and whatnot. As for penetrating a wall, that's a larger leap of faith. One which I would not consider easy. It's a freaking wall, solid from end to end for God's sake! What would it take to move through it, spirit or not?

Look at it this way: Don't fly through the wall, go beyond it. Don't even think about the wall, think about what's inside. Go to whatever is on the other side of the wall. As you approach it, the wall will dissapear to show what is inside. You simply move through the area that the wall was.

A good practice is to slowly approach a wall while standing. Put your hand through, and follow. As you stick your limbs through, you might find it difficult to put your face through. Mainly through a sense of disbelief in what's on the other side. You can get over that by closing your 'eyes' and picturing what is on the other side. When you concentrate back  on your new surroundings, you shall be on the other side.
As it as written, now and forever shall be. In the name of the Stevo, amen.
