Hi Nay,

Thanks for posting that wonderful obe experience! [8D] Very enjoyable to read, believe me! You have a great, descriptive writing style, that made it seem like I was there with you.

All the best,
Nick

Thanks Nick, as always you are too kind..[:I]

I had forgotten to mention that I looked at the clock before starting and it was 10:22am and was 11:16am when I was done.  Of course there is around 15 min or so of meditation [^]

Hi Nay

That sounded like fun!I was interested to hear about your projecting to your childhood home. This happens to me too quite often-ending up in the house I grew up in and haven`t been back to for 30 years. It usually occurs at the start of the projection.I don`t have any theory about why this happens but it seems to be fairly common. I remember that Jeff Mash posted about this too.Maybe we can travel in time as well as space?

Cheers

Hi Nay ! That was a great account !! I'm jealous, hee hee..

When you talked about diving towards the water, then pulling up and skimming the surface, it brought to mind an AP I had a year or so ago...I was a few hundred feet up, looked like I was in Arizona (never been there but I've seen a few photos). I could see 3 or 4 horses down below, so I dived towards them....this set them off running, perhaps scared them. I was flying next to them a few feet above the ground, as they were galloping! It was fantastic !!

Hey Coral, it was great fun!  I'm not sure why I visited my childhood homes, they just happened to be on my mind.  I'm not sure what ya mean about travel in time, but I don't think I traveled back in time, infact the house in Mich, had totally different furniture and a wall was taken down to allow more space in the front part of the house.  My bet is that house is used as some kind of buisness now.  I wish there was some way for me to confirm what I saw...now that would be cool. [8D]

Mark, I love horses!  It sounds like that was something else!  Such magnificent animals.

Welp, off to try for API again this morning...[^]

A little tip from li'l ol me:

I would focus on not the picture of the API, but rather the atmosphere and feelings it gives you. Everyone is different in respects to travel though, so it might not work. Worth a try though.

No offense SD, but after your attempt at my universe, I'll stick with my way..[:P]

Actually I didn't mind one bit that I ended up other places, whom am I to argue with the higher forces that put me there?  Not to mention, I am totally excited about not being fearful anymore of flying or heights!! Maaaaaaan that was a huge hurtle for me, you just don't know.

I can understand though, I think..lol, what you mean about atmosphere, if you mean the feeling of being on a beach with the wind, waves, salt air..etc.  But if you mean what feel API gives off, I don't know yet, I've yet to stand on it longer than a few seconds..but once I do get that emotional signiture, I'll be able to hone in on it. *crosses fingers*

I did try again this morning, and ended up falling into a dream with Mark..LOL. [:O]  I think it happened because his post was the last thing I read.  I am going to talk with him in private and ask some things and see if I am right about anything, this should prove interesting or extremely embarrassing..[;)]

After reading your personal attacks on my thread, this is the last time I am being nice to you. I am basically taking it as you are declaring war on me, because that is how you came off.

They may take our lies!.. But they will never take.. Our EGOS!!!!
WWAAAAARRRRRRR!!!!!

Nay, thanks for the cool post. Just adding more to my desire to actually get out and about.
Unfortunately I'm still unable to relax properly I think, never even experienced the vibrations.

Good luck on your ventures to the API.

Hello there Syke !!

Don't worry...not everyone will experience these vibrations before an OBE.

Try searching for "relaxation techniques" in the forum. Good luck !!

Hey all [:)]

I had a window of opportunity this morning, thanks to the 'ole hubby keeping all kids away from me, to have another go at visiting API (Astral Pulse Island, for those whom aren't familar with it)

I did some energy work first and all was going well.  I had a good visual going of the Island and thought for sure I was going to make it this time.  I felt myself float up and out of my body and was marveling at how easy it was this time..[:D]  I even goofed around a bit and was spinning and zooming around for the fun of it.  It has taken me well over a year to get past the fear of flying and moving at fast speeds, but now..wow, it seems to be fun! but I digress...

While I was zooming around, for some reason I thought of our old house I use to live in Mich... In a split second, and I mean split second, I was zooming out my window and found myself in the basement of the Mich house..[:O]  This house was scary when I lived in it as a kid (the one with the ghost) ESPECIALLY the basement!  So I'm like.."no,no no no" and shot up through the floor to the front room.

I noticed that whomever lives in it now, seems to have some kind of buisness or at least works at home because they tore down this one wall and made the whole front room a office, with two desks, phones, bookshelves, etc..

I looked around a bit more and remembered that I was suppose to be going to API and with that thought, I found myself back in my physical with the vibrations still covering me, so I gave it another try, only to find myself at another childhood home that I lived in before the Mich house, this one is in New Mexico... well, I wasn't in the house but outside across the street in the Mesa. [:P]

I was thrilled that travelling at these fast speeds and flying wasn't scaring me anymore, so being the easily distrated dork I am I started doing moon jumps..[:D] Jumping from one mound of sand to the next.. I never saw anyone, but all of a sudden I started feeling a bit ummmmmmm...frisky, if ya know what I mean..[:I] and figured I should leave this place and try once again for API. I fly off towards the house across the street only to find myself back in my physical, with the vibrations still going really well.   I thought there was only one thing to do and that was try again for API [:P] but I had missed twice, so I thought I should think about the ocean and start from there.[^]

I should say that the times I went back to my physical I had alot of fun going through walls and doors, I was really having a blast with that for some reason..

Anyhoo...I zoomed right out and found myself really, really high above these sea cliffs. Eureka!  I came in for this landing..hehe, and skidded not two feet from the hedge of the cliffs and it must have been a two-hundred foot drop, which is around 60-70 meters, to the ocean.  Welp, so much for not being afraid of heights because looking down at the ocean, which was everywhere I looked, gave me vertigo.  I walked slowly, notice I didn't fly, back to this little building that was behind me... amazing how fear can be a buzz kill. [}:)]

I was giving myself a pep talk... "come on, you can do it, you can fly for goodness sakes, just do..blah, blah, blah"  I started doing the moon jumps again to work myself up to jumping off this cliff.  I backed up to the building, which I got the feeling was some kind of little store or something and took a deep breath then took off running towards the cliff!!!

I took a leap of faith and woosh.......I dove for the water then pulled up just before hitting, I was now skimming the water and let me tell you it was the most fun I've had in a long time!  I felt so free, I can't explain it.  I was laughing and hooting at myself, I couldn't believe I did it.  I looked around a bit for the Island but I think the excitement got to be too much for me, because next thing I know I'm back in my physical..

Before I came back to my physical I could have sworn I saw a fishing boat off to the right, but I can't be sure, things were getting a bit fuzzy at that point.

Wow, sorry it was so long... but it was fun!
