Weird title, right?
So my friend felt her bed shaking one night, heard the floorboards of the level above her creek, and she felt a menacing presence. Unexpectedly, I felt a presence too. I chased whatever it was out of my house very quick, and comforted her until it stopped. The next morning she woke up to her back door wide open. That night, before bed, she didn't feel tired, and she felt scared to sleep. What I did to help (and where the title comes from) was imagine her house, me being remote as of 2 miles. I rose above the house, I could look to the front door at a 45 degree angle down. The entire house grew bright white with my energy as I chased any bad spirits out of the house. Now, it was all unusually lucid... When I got back to her one minute later, she said she felt a lot better, and was tired.
I myself have never had a direct 100% out of my body experience, however I've exorcised a house, created an independent spirit, and used telepathy. My main goal was just to see auras and I've been doing all of this. Life is weird.
One thing I discovered is, once you open the door a little, you never know what things or experiences will come peeking in.... Maybe you were a lot more out of body then you have realized. I can sit in a chair during broad daylight. And close my eyes and visualize myself leaving my body and walking through my front door, and going out in the yard and looking around. All of this is while I have full awareness that I am still in my physical body in my room, sitting in my chair. But if I keep this visualization up for any length of time, I lose the feeling of myself being in the chair, and often times when I visualize myself coming back into my room, and entering my physical body, I have even 'jerked' to alertness, and realized that 'yes', my thoughts did solely become centered upon my astral mind or body for a time.
Maybe there was truly a menacing spirit or presence in her residence and yours also, and if you were there in astral form in hers, you did indeed fill it with protecting light and drove the presence out of her place.
I had a very scary thing happen right after I had my second out of body experience, some years ago. I had come home from working second shift, and I got home around 11:20 PM. I was in my kitchen of a little apartment that I lived in at that time, and I was attempting to make a sandwich. Now remember this was when I was fully alert, I had just walked into the door of my apartment a little bit earlier.
I was near my kitchen table when I noticed my living room, suddenly lit up with a soft but bright blue glow, or light. Then it faded away as soon as it had appeared. I stood there wondering what the heck I had just seen, then i heard what sounded like someone or something come walking into the kitchen where I was. The floor was tile, and I clearly heard footsteps, as if something invisible had just walked into the room with me.
The sound of the steps seemed to stop, about 5 or 6 feet away from where I was standing, and all of a sudden the room literally became filled with the most overpowering feeling of a presence, that was pure evil. It scared the crap out of me. Even though I could not see it with my physical eyes, I knew there was something there, as I could sense it without any doubt.
I hollered out 'In the name of Jesus Christ, I command you to leave.... I cover you with the shed blood of Jesus', instantly the presence left, but I must say, even as an grown man, I slept that night with the light on in my bedroom.
What was this? I truly believe opening the door to astral projection, is an occult activity, and we do therefore place ourselves in a position where some very unique and downright scary things can occur . I am sure there are a lot of things in this world that are invisible to the naked eye, then what are visible.... if we only knew...

She was experiencing Sleep Paralysis. This is obvious and evident.
Bed shaking.. Astral noise.. feeling presences/ seeing. Sounds like she was probably in the vibration state.
Cheers.

Yes, this is a "clear cut" case. This is why so many people think they are being held down or attacked by a Demon in their sleep. SP kicks in, the next thing engaged is your fear, then you are off and running on a full blown fear scenario! :-o

Honestly? If it's not sleep paralysis (which it *could* be), this is your friends mind playing tricks on them.
If you sit still you can easily believe you're perceiving shaking... and the creeks in a house are absolutely normal. A house isn't stationary... everything in it expands and contracts as the sun hits it due to heat and cold. This causes the creeking sounds we hear.
The menacing presence she's "feeling" is due to an overactive imagination of what the sounds she's hearing are. Tell her to relax and drink some nice chamomile tea. It'll relax her nerves a bit. :)
QuoteUnexpectedly, I felt a presence too.
Associated feelings. You're feeling what she's feeling.
People are too irrational when it comes to the unknown. Try to look for, or get opinions from other people before you jump to conclusions such as the ones you're making.
OR... you could end up causing a situation eventually by putting so much Intention and Energy into something that isn't really there. You don't want to actually CAUSE problems, do you?
The backdoor being open in the morning points directly to a sleep walker in the family. How do I know this? Because I did this myself on many occasions. I used to walk downstairs, open the front door, then go back to bed. People have watched me do this.
Please everyone... do yourselves a favour and *STOP* jumping to non-physical conclusions. You're only scaring the ever-loving-bejeebus out of yourselves. There are RATIONAL, PHYSICAL explanations for everything you've experienced thus far. I'd suggest people look for those first.

It's sleep walking... how you breath while you're sleeping? ;)
It's all done either automatically, or through another state of consciousness.
@RWB: I have to say, that is a pretty interesting story. I'm glad you took the time to type all that out. :-)
@Bedeekin: Well that is my first thought when she said she felt the bed moving. However, prior to this a friend wanted me to meet up with a paranormal investigator about my egregore. This have me a terrible, terrible feeling. I don't run on instinct alone, so this feeling was weird to me. I asked the friend who had the bed shaking what she though without telling her what I first thought, and she said the same gut feeling hit her.
Upon feeling the presence I thought nothing of it. I stood up to go and pet my hamster, and she simply looked straight past me. She's a hamster, she's not the brightest, but it was weird to turn my head behind me really fast, then back, to see her looking elsewhere behind me.
@Xanth: Yes, sleep paralysis could explain this, but she heard it on the floor above her, her floor being one floor down from floor one. Funny thing, I actually give her teas. She was texting me at the time, sleep paralysis while moving sounds a bit off key... But it is a state of asleep mind. What do I know.
@M4RT1N: It's subconscious. You know your way around your own house better than you (consciously) think.

Definitely not sleep paralysis then.
Try the rest of my above post... because it really sounds more physical-type stuff happening than anything else. As I said, each event you mentioned DOES have a perfectly good physical explanation to them. :)
