I do this, too.  I got the technique from Buhlman as well.  Buhlman's advice concerning the adjustments to the vibrations works--the frequency seems easy to alter and they are much more manageable when they're spread out.  Your right that Buhlman's book is worth reading, although I do have some complaints about it.  He repeats himself a lot, which I found tedious, but he really does have some good ideas.

As for sitting up verses floating out?  Floating, for me, is so much easier.  It doesn't require any effort.  I really should try sitting up more often, but when I've done that in the past I've become stuck from the waist down.  I need to work on it more.

Thanks for sharing your experience, Kevin.

Hi!
Nice tipps, elbuscador :-) I'll try that as well!
Did u ever experience that your vibes actually disturb your relaxation?

In response to Ady's question.

I have only projected at night between the hours of 1 and 3 am. I generally just wake up and don't move my body in the process (this takes some practice). But referring to the vibes disturbing my relaxation I would say that so far using this night time method to project I have not had that problem. If you are fearful of the vibes when they occur then there is a chance that this could effect your relaxation. I find the vibes fun when they occur because I know that there is a chance that I can separate from my body. Good luck Ady.

Hello all,

I feel very lucky when I read on these forums that so many people have trouble with leaving there body when they get the vibrations but here I am finding it very easy to leave my body when I get them. When I get the vibes I allow them to spread throughout my whole body(you can use your mind to help you with this). I have left my body at different intensities of the vibrations and ALWAYS end up in my bedroom from where I am projecting. The vibes DO (for me) have to be fairly strong for me to separate. Sometimes I hold on to them too long and end up projecting into a vivid LD. So the key for me is using my mind to let the vibes course throughout my body and also using my mind to increase the intensity to the correct level for me to separate. Something weird that I have noticed is that when I float out I seem to float up too quickly and end up projecting into a vivid LD. However, when I sit up and stand up I have no problems. I know I am in the real time zone because everything in my room looks the same. One time I saw a streak of light that was cast onto my bed. For some reason I did not ponder this. But on returning to my body I opened my eyes and saw a sliver of moonlight shining through my curtains onto my bed in the exact location of the light I saw when I was projecting. William Buhlman offers some good advice on the vibrations and his book is recommending reading. I actually owe his book to my success. Good luck to all and take care.
