I suppose this board is good for that though, after a while of reading posts it gets imbeded in your subconcious and you desire it more and more until it happens, thats what I'm counting on anyway!

Lysear, you're correct. I've always been a firm believer that one way to FEED your subconscious some astral projection food is to constantly be thinking about it. Not only thinking about its application, but knowing that it's POSSIBLE and that you WILL do it.
Before the internet, one could only help to accomplish this by reading books on the subject, but thanks the the web and sites like this, we can all come together, encouraging each other and sharing experiences, tips, and other thought provoking things which help embed the idea of projecting in our minds.

Leyla,
Congrats your automatically using the "rope" method ... it's great when we find our "selves" using methods, regardless of our conscious plans! Isn't it fun and exciting and thought-provoking when you do something "unexpected" while OBE?
I hope get that neck problem fixed in no time!
Thanks for the nice post!
Cheers!

I gave myself instruction for the next time I was out to try to work on the stress/negativity in my neck and shoulder area- I suspect I have something lodged there.
I found my consious mind awake while the rest on me was sleeping- and I'll be darned if I didn't automatically go into the "rope" meathod of pulling myself out of body! something I had read about on here, but hadn't planned on trying it at all.
I sat up and worked on my shoulders for a few brief seconds before going back into body. I was able to pop my neck the next day for a little relief but not much.
