I was projecting a few hours ago and requested to be taken to the Titanic, I wanted to feel some emotion. I opened my room door and there I was. For a moment I hesitated and asked myself if I really wanted to experience this, but then I was 'hey, what the hell...'. Walking down the corridor I got into some rooms, there was nobody, didn't see a person there. Staring out some windows I saw the water rising very quickly, but wait, what is this, there's daylight, as far as I know the Titanic sunk during the night. I thought about running till the end of the corridor but was afraid the waters would meet me up ahead, so I walked back to a room and waited. In less than 1 minute I was covered in water, I thought about swimming and breathing underwater as I often do, but wow I was really dead, I could 'smell?' the salty water in my lungs.
I was thinking, is there any possibility that my vision was real, and that the Titanic really sunk during the day? It would mean that the captain was careless and the ones who were supposed to save them were reckless. It makes sense that if it happened during the day they would try to stifle the case by paying a huge indemnity to the survivors to keep them quiet and avoid the anger of the families of the dead. It would have been one of the greatest blunders of history. I'm just conjecturing here, I have no idea of what happened there, can someone share more information?
It sunk aprox 2am...
If what you were seeing was real, than it might not have been daylight, you just seeing it as light...
sometimes one will see the dark as light, mistake the moon for the sun etc...
However , good quest for a OBE. I would like to try that too.
Yup, it was also strange cause I didn't see people or hear anything, screams, nothing. Probably the real experience would have been way more frightening.
Actually that day I wanted to see pictures of life on other planets, but before i went to bed a saw an amazing image of an iceberg and thought I'd wanna glide it down.

This is a iceberg ? I see more a image of Marie.
Lol, I wonder why there's no one swimming there, it's such a beautiful day.
mmmmmmmmmmm... nothing beats a good conspiracy theory!
There's no conspiracy

Yeah I know but there's no conspiracy , Titanic as sunk in the night not in the day.
you didn't happen to hear the song 'my heart will go on' during the projection did you..:)
tvos

HAHAH TVOS, what if I told you that I sang the song to appear there!
AndrewTheSinger,
I am messin with ya - there are moments in the song that are real powerfull, but I would have prefered someone else sing the song then Celine - maybe Barbara Striesand.. - well, thats another story.
Tvos = the voice of silence, which one day (about 20yrs) ago reading The Inner Light by C.W.Leadbetter I saw the term The Voice Of The Silence. Looking over it quickly, I thought that I saw "The Voice Of Silence" and adapted the name ever since. Years later, I realize my mistake and it was too late.
Tvos
An interesting exercise though on realizing the subtle flux between the subjective and the objective, and the need to suspend judgment when it comes to information we receive in visionary states. In the world so much that seems objective is or is touched by the subjective, and the nature of non physical reality seems - to me - to be strongly symbolic.
Without a level head it may be hard to discern what is symbolic and what is objective. Symbols are real, thoughts are real, the subjective IS real but it expresses meanings that may be different than what seems to be in front of our noses.
I've often read accounts where people say that while projecting they saw Christ's Crucifixion or some other historical event such as the sinking of the Titanic.
I would argue that while projecting you will encounter a reality similar to other altered states of consciousness such as meditative states, drug-induced trips, religious visions, and even dreams - which is a "reality" of your own creation or at least a hybrid reality that might involve some astral recording of an event that is used as raw material by your mind to recreate the event in a manner that is suitable for your purpose but is not the "true" event.
I believe that many religious writings such as the various prophecies in the Bible (Ezekiel, John's Revelation, etc.) fall into this category - religious visions or experiences occurring during altered states. As such they are highly symbolic and I believe, are creations of the individual's true SELF or soul, and as such contain valuable information pertaining to that person's spiritual journey. The problem comes when they get distributed widely and people begin to believe that the vision is "true" or has some hugely important information that is significant to the future of the entire human race.
There are many "Christian" books out there containing such visions and the authors gather a little following who eagerly await their next vision. But the visions are so symbolic as to be useless for providing spiritual direction to a body of believers.
So my particular take on the "truth" contained in any Astral Projection is that it is not a Universal, historic truth but rather the experience symbolically represents information important to the spiritual development of the individual who experienced it - and not beyond that. Incidentally, this is the general approach of Jungian dream analysis and books on that subject give a specific process for working with dreams / visions to figure out the meaning, although one would only want to go down that path if they bought into the Jungian concept of "Individuation". It's also interesting to note that Jung developed a technique that he called "Active Imagination" which appears to be extremely similar, if not the same as, Astral Projection. He described it as a technique for exploring one's unconscious as well as the "Collective Unconscious" for the purpose of bringing about one's Individuation.

I agree completely. I was going to post something similar but you stated my thoughts perfectly.
