Really weird

Hey guys i havent been on the forums for a while but i had a weird experience and wanted some help.

Ive only tried to project a few times and the first time i came close was a couple months ago when i got vibrations for the first time(twice in one night at that).  i made sure to get on the forums and let you guys know about it.  this was my first and last time getting vibrations or any sign that i am close to projection until a couple of nights ago.

Anyways, a couple of nights ago i felt like i should try projecting.  the method i use is to just close my eyes, look at the darkness and listen to the slight buzzing in my ears while keeping conscious.  so at some point in the night(no idea how long after i lied down) i became extremely conscious while my body was asleep.  i got no vibrations but could instantly leave my body.  its kind of hard to explain how i got out but ill try, i was lying on my back so i lifted my upper body forward and my lower body backwards so it was like i was standing up with my legs inside of my bed.  anyways i moved(not sure how) to the other side of the room and could clearly see myself lying in bed and then it ended but i didnt wake up.

Now at the time this was really cool and i was extremely excited but the next day when i recalled the incident i realized this that i was standing near my door looking at myself in my bed at my moms house but i was staying at my dads apartment and this REALLY confused me when i thought about it the next day.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

your psyche may have generated a duplicate holographic room imagery from memory.  this is often the case when environments don't quite seem to match right.
