Hey Dakota Ridge!
Your experience sounds absolutely fascinating ... it made me chuckle as I visualized the entire experience. If I were him (an average person) I'd be high-tailing it out of there, too!

Suffice to say, I personally think that HIS response gives some credibility to the experience being real ... that's the typical response an average person (physically-minded) would have. Of course, if at the time, you were thinking about him getting scared and running off, and he was a construct of your mind or the astral, then YOUR thoughts would have generated his response ... some variables to think about.
As to your Darth Vader voice, that's interesting and cool ... I so enjoy James Earl Jones voice anyhow! Again, if I were to hear D-V's voice out of no where ... that would startle me ... even with the experiences I've had ... more to think about!
Lastly, your quote is GREAT!
P.S. Perhaps you could periodically check your neighborhood for the "jogging man".
Cheers!

Hi Greg,
Thanks for the thoughts ... the jogger's reaction was completely unexpected and was the farthest thing from my mind at the time it happened. He initially thought somebody was playing a joke on him and was nervously trying to laugh it off when he first heard it. I'm not sure if my voice sounded the same to him as it did to me. It sounded pretty close to how those electronically enhanced voices sound in the movies - completely inhuman, extremely baritone and very "mechanical." His response is completely believable given the situation. I'd thought of hanging a sign on the back fence asking if any joggers ever had a strange experience there, please call me. But he may never have gone by that spot again; I'm sure I wouldn't have.

Back in February I was in the middle of an OBE, floating just over the top of the ten-foot sound fence that borders my back yard, when I saw a guy come jogging down the sidewalk on the other side of the fence. I tried talking to him, and my voice came out sounding something like Darth Vader. Extremely deep - deeper than I've ever heard a human voice sound. At first the guy thought it was a joke and laughed it off because he couldn't immediately see where the voice was coming from, but after I told him I'm talking to him from the astral plane, he went into sheer panic mode and took off running at top speed. There's no feasible way to verify whether he was really there on the physical, and whether or not he actually heard me, but I'd be interested in hearing any other experiences that might be out there along these lines. Did I really get somebody on the physical to hear me "verbally?"
