tingly feeling?

So when I do what I think will bring  me an AP or OBE or something, I get this strange vibration or tingly feeling all over my body, and I have control of how intense it is or when it tarts and stops.  But sometimes it seems that if I do it too intensly or too long, I feel very weird afterward.  I did this last night, and after I made the sensations go away, everything seemed dark, (figuratively speaking) like I was surrounded by evil, and as if I wasn't there with myself, something else was, and I was tying to get the real me to come back before the thing inside me took over.  It was a struggle, but "she" came back, as I refered to myself.

I normally wouldn't be alarmed except for the darkness and feelings of being inhabited by something... or maybe it was the feeling of nothing.

What keeps happening?

this vibration you feel is your astral body vibrating faster than normal to separate from the physical body so it can escape and go free while the physical body reenergizes (this is the normal sleep process), that's a normal step in astral projection. but this dark feeling you feel is a mistake of your mind, it is another being around you, but don't be afraid, it's around you to help, this being, or beings are spirit guides, and high intelligent spiritual guardians humans call "angels", some times they touch you to let you know their around you, but when you feel this touch, you go in a mental alarm, which changes your energy state negatively, making you feel your being possesed.  if you didn't understand, it means they touched you and you got afraid because you don't know what it was. trust them.....and ask god for protection, you will be ok, i go through the same thing.

Thankyou.

No offence, but why SHOULD I trust it.  I'd like to, but I do believe in God and I absolutely do not want to mix up something evil for good.

you don't have trust them, just ask them to gain your trust, and after a while you'll notice there works, i was walking down the road today and i saw some dangerous dogs coming my way, i asked the angels to protect me, i had little faith but i walked down the road unharmed from the barking dogs. you'll see that's the difference between good and bad sooner or later.

I do have to trust them because right now I'm affraid that they might not be what you are saying and will do something to harm me.  I believe in angels and their protection but I always thought that when they protected someone, that person felt good and safe, not scared and surrounded by evil.

It sounds to me like the tingling feeling is related to your body falling asleep. As your body shuts down and sensory input to the brain slows down you tend to get tingly sensations, hear noises, get faint images, etc. Your brain fills in gaps because nothing much is going on. If you stay aware, you'll slip into another state of consciousness, which is an unknown to someone who hasn't experienced it. It's easy for the subconscious to imagine "evil" in something it doesn't understand. There is nothing to fear though. It's a very normal process, don't let it freak you out.

Hm... well I can have this tingly feeling at any time, not just when I am going to sleep, so I think what b12145 is saying about that is true.

Thanks for the advice though, I probably will try to trust them. :-P
