Hello! I just have a question and was hoping you guys could answer it for me. I have been researching and  trying to astral project for a couple of months now and have done different methods but has no success in doing so. I have also done my research on Lucid Dreaming and how to achieve it but I haven't tried it yet.

Anyway so I haven't been trying AP or LD for a while now but something happened last night. I woke up from a dream and I was thinking about it until i feel back asleep. I had another dream, again woke up and talk about it. I know this is the best way to achieve LD BUT that wasn't in my mind. I was only thinking about my dreams cause it was well..interesting. haha.

So anyway I went back to sleep. This time, I was dreaming that i was laying in bed. I have a habit of covering my face with a blanket but the difference is, I had a BLUE blanket when I went to bed and in my dream, it was white and had a butterfly pattern on it.

So I was looking at the pattern and it started to move. I looked at the blanket and that started to move. All of a sudden, I decided to get out of my body. I didn't know what triggered this. I don't remember closing my eyes but everything turned black. There was a flash of light and my left ear popped. The sound was SO loud that it woke me up.

So my question is was I astral projecting? or was i simply dreaming? The ear popping was real though but I am asking cause I want to know for sure.

Also IF i was close to astral projecting, how do I stop the sounds from waking me up/snap back to my physical body?

It's very possible that you have projected, tell me, what did it feel like? I ask because when you project via LD, your brain still feels like it's dreaming so your projection feels dreamy. As for the noises, those are just side effects that'll go away the more you project

It did feel dreamy. I didn't really see anything because my face was covered with a blanket which I do in RL. It was also quiet. I only realized I was dreaming though when I was about to AP which is weird.

How do I keep the noise from waking me up though?

Your best bet is to ignore the noise till they go away on their own
