Trying to Astral Project: Have Some Questions

Lately I've been trying to astral project and get to the intense vibration phase and then get confused. To be more specific, I feel my arms rising in the air, and when this happens they rise without me controlling them. When I open my eyes though, it's my physical hands rising, confusing me, thus leading to this post of questions:

01. When astral projecting and attempting to leave the body, are your physical arms supposed to rise up in real life? I've read people saying you rise out of your body, but when opening my eyes, I notice it's my physical self rising, leaving me confused about the process of "getting up" out of your body.

02. When meditating, I see absolutely nothing except some strange patterns and colors. When astral projecting and attempting to leave my body, do I open my eyes, or do they stay closed the entire time and then the astral plane will fill my vision?

03. I've read quite a few threads about being "attacked" - how does a spirit attack you exactly?

04. People say what you think happens - such as fears and having negative spirits attacking you. If I'm scared of a specific looking person from a movie and that person appears, is that a "real" person or a hallucinated projection that isn't really there in the astral plane?

05. How exactly do you direct positive energy when being attacked?

06. What exactly do negative entities look like? Do they resemble the demonic faces you see in horror movies?

07. If I were to jump off a 50-story high building and slam into the ground in the astral world, would I feel pain?

08. If I were to travel far in the astral plane, how do I get back to finding my body? Such as, going out into space and then not knowing how to return back to my house.

09. Lastly, while projecting, people say you can move your finger and wake yourself up. Do you feel your physical body while projecting with your spiritual body at the same time? Is that even possible?
