What am I doing wrong?

Hello! Started reading about astral projection about a week ago and since, I have tried like 5 times. I already mastered the art of relaxing the body, getting the body to fall asleep, since that is my method for going to sleep. So I tried some different techniques out, I experience the vibrations, and then, it's like parts of my astral body is moving out of my physical body, floating about an inch above my physical body. My feet usually go first and then my chest. On time the head was partially "out". But that's how far I've managed to go. When I've reached this state where parts of my astral body is out of my physical body, what is the next step? Should I just focus a bit more? (I tend to give up after 15-20 minutes, and during that time, I made my body fall asleep and also experience the vibrational state and partial "outness") Should I just keep on going, thinking about trying to get out of my physical body?

Peace

Ps. First post :)

CFTraveler

Yes.
Keep going, and if you're out already, get away.

These are very good results, if you just started a week ago! Just try to leave your body, rolling out to the side works very good for me. Start with it when you notice that parts of your "body" are floating out of your physical body. Good luck!

And welcome to the Astral Pulse!  :-)

Thank you guys!
I hope I'll achieve astral projection someday. It seems really great :)

Welcome to the pulse.

You "new" people drive me crazy sometimes (in a jealous way usually).  I busted my butt for the better part of 8 months to achieve my first conscious exit and that was after years of study and research.

Stick with it, you can do it.
be awesome.

I think it was because I've been making these relaxation exercises for a few years, about 5-10 nights of every month. I've been training for the first phases of astral projection, but I didn't know it then. Then I came across a thread in a different forum which made me interested in astral projection and the relaxation techniques was what I've been doing for years.. I haven't achieved a projection yet..

Back to the topic: Should I force the astral body away, or just think "it would be nice to float away" should I think "roll over" or should I actually try to roll over?

CFTraveler

I say do something assertive.  Waiting for stuff to happen is (IMO) a bad precedent.

schockstuhh

for me, i simply have to have the desire to want to leave my body. thinking thoughts out loud in my mind like "it would be nice to float away" or "roll over" would only hold me back for some reason. everything for me has to "flow". if i'm caught in the middle of the process of separation, and i'm trying to force myself out, it will never work.

im new to this web site and its perfect for me because i really need help with astral projection.
ive been trying to astral project for about 4 months now and it feels like i have made no progress.
i cannot feel vibrations (energy) flowing throught my body ive done lots of research about how to raise your vibrations and nothing has help me the only thing i have really acomplished from all of this is i know how to clear my mind now..that was such a hard task for me...
ive read books by robert bruce "new energy ways" and i just cant feel any vibrations please message me directly if you intend to help me any help whatso ever would be greatly apprecitated
i want to astral project so bad and i think the basis of my failure is raising enough energy

CFTraveler

Everybody doesn't feel vibrations.  NEW is not for feeling vibrations, is for learning to move and feel energy sensations, but they are not the same thing.
Separation vibrations don't happen to everyone, and if you do get them, you are usually in a trance of some sort before you get them.

cali

i dont even feel energy sensations though

CFTraveler

Ok, here is a simple thing.
Sit somewhere comfy.  Close your eyes.  Now think of your right foot.  Without visualizing, think of where your right foot is.  When you're sure you know where it is, wiggle it.  Ok.  Were you close?  Now, without moving or opening your eyes, 'locate' your left hand.  Now wiggle it.  Is it where you 'felt' it?
If it is, I can guide you through another one.
And yes, there is a point to what I'm doing.

cali

yes i can do that and i also have read Robert Bruce's "new energy ways"
i feel i am very good at finding out were my right foot and left hand are
whats the next part though

CFTraveler

Ok, we have established you can do targeting- that is, you can put your awareness and are able to locate it.  This is feeling energy but in a very subtle way.
Exercise number two: Imagine you have one of those foot spas with the bubbles.  (Sit comfortably with your eyes closed) In your mind, the spa is hot and very bubbly.  You put your feet into the bubbly hot water.  You can feel as the bubbles caress your feet, as they go up and around your feet.  It feels delicious.  You sit there, your feet in bubbles, and they tickle the bottom of your feet.  It is heaven!
Do this mental exercise for a few minutes, and tell me, after you're done, if you can feel where your feet are.

allright ill give it a shot
