: ) I've been really slacking up on recording my dreams and stuff, my sleeping has been pretty hectic and I've been focusing a lot of my art... so much to my surprise when I have a lucid dream last night and the first thing I think to ask is to see my guides. My question is about the guides. When they appeared to me I saw only a toy car rolling around on its on and some sort of small animal. I couldn't make out what the animal was, but I was once told I had a ferret for an animal guide, but I didn't believe that, so I was thinking maybe I couldn't tell because of my refusal to believe its possible or something. I was wondering did I actually meet my guides, were they screwing around with me? XD because I asked them to take me where I'm needed and they just took me to a store full of candy. I went along with it, but you know I felt like it was a joke.

No one can answer this for you. No one was there to see it except you. No one will ever be able to answer this question except you and or your guide/guides. But let's say by chance it was your guide. then, all of the above would actually make sense (the candy store). Maybe your guide has a sense of humor. Or maybe what was shown to you doesn't make sense right now, but will in time. That's what happens a lot of the time.

I'm with AAAAAAAA.  We can't really know for certain.

A "guide" might not ever show themselves to you on request... or they might appear in a manner which you wouldn't be expecting, like a toy car.  The manner which they provide "assistance" could end up being anything, in which case, try to remain completely open to how they show themselves.  It probably won't be a "person" you can "talk" with.  :)

A toy car in a candy store might hold more meaning for you than you initially think.

Yeah I've been thinking what it could have meant other than a joke.. being brought to the store. I haven't come up with anything yet. Maybe they were just letting me get a feel for what its like to have total awareness in the non physical. The original dream scene was dark the whole time, up until the store which was bright and neat, shelves lined with candy. There was a cashier, she had blond hair, but I didn't look at her face, I avoided eye contact. I didn't just open up the candy either, i went to the counter first.. and didn't actually pay anything for it nor was it scanned, I mean the lady was just standing there not doing anything. She undoubtedly wasn't a real person and seeing that she didn't react to me I just ate the candy. From the moment I became completely aware, all the dream characters had  stopped I guess.
