What do I do from here? Sound scrollwheel? Movement? Sight?

Hey all  :-D

Had a first time experience today. I have had "normal" projections before where I  feel the vibrations, I roll off my bed into my room, stand up and start walking around and explore the world. I feel like this is kind of just like
a normal lucid dream to me. I am wondering if I am missing something because what I felt today was very odd.

I was in a dream and realized I was dreaming so I just closed my eyes and started to come back to my body. Feeling myself laying in bed and the vibrations. I didn't really have any sight. I heard sounds (Crazy static like electricity sounds mixed with other recognizable sounds like music) like I have heard in past experiences but then I sort of mentally did the "whats up" motion with my head, the opposite of nodding it which I have never done before while in this state. Right when I did this I felt my body drift straight in that direction and I felt like I had physically passed through a portal which I have never felt before. After this I nodded again with the same movement still having no sight just darkness. As I was gliding though it felt like I was flipping through sound memories like little clips of sound but they were changing so fast kind of like as you move your
mouse across the toolbar of a Mac and one image get larger than the others. It felt like that but only with sound. I heard music that I like as well as crazy static and electricity sounds. I was scared at this point and woke myself up. I then went back to sleep and managed to recreate this same experience all over again but was still scared to nod my head again and go "deeper"

I would appreciate any tips on what I should do at this point or what your opinion on this is. Next time I will try not to be afraid but I still had no vision. I will try to create my own light next time if I can remember.

I guess you could activate your sight by imagining something, then 'stepping' into it. That's something I would try. :)

As for realising you're dreaming and entering the state, I've actually done that SO MANY TIMES in the time i have tried AP it's ridiculous. There was a time where I was running at full speed towards a yellow wall to get to some guy I was chasing (Don't know who it was though) then when I jumped up... the thought of OBE crossed my mind, and I instantly blacked out and vibrated like an idiot for a few seconds... :D
This world's Captain Falcon; A title I will pass down to a chosen one when I leave this dimension.

You were about to go astral through a portal de m what you've explained.
I can get to this point in seconds, once relaxed and on a good day. Your sight will appear soon enough, my early days with this were dark and then changed to flying through a tunnel similar to Dr Who when the program starts with more detail.
Ignore the noises for now, you can alter them from total silence to Beethoven's symphony no.6 when familiar lol. It's not easy though and the distracton can kill the experience.
Drop the fear and you'll enjoy far more than the RTZ can offer.
It's time to get set for the astral proper.

Yes I would like to be able to control the music I hear and be able to recall it in detail. idk how to go about doing that cause when I normally roll off the bed and start walking around
the crazy sounds I described when you are first entering arent there.

It's the final part of the transition where the sounds are more noticeable. You don't exit from the physical world completely but stay in the latter part of the transition.
From here when you gain full awareness you'd typically wake, however, with some experience you can remain here for a good while by balancing your level of awareness with intent in staying within this sonic arena of sorts.
It takes a few attempts to master but its not too difficult. Once phase-locked, you can create all sorts of variations of sounds from a symphony with choir to unpleasant comments being shouted at full volume directly at you. The main thing to remember is YOU are in control, don't let fear in unless you're experimenting with negative feedback. (Recommend for the more advanced and fearless). This has caused an exit or two into an unpleasant scene which is easily remedied if aware enough.
More is posted somewhere on site.
