Title: What happend last night?
Post by: Neotist on November 13, 2011, 23:27:08
I started to relax and all of a sudden I started to get relay scared for no reason and then for some reason. I started to think the phrase "holy light" over and over in my head and after a short time of saying it I stopped being scared and my body started to get relay relaxed and I quickly got to where i could barley feel my body(note that this is the deepest I have ever been before). Then when ever a part of my body got to where I couldn't feel it at all it would twitch a few times then it was back to where i could just barley feel it. After a but of this repeatedly happening my right arm started to get relay itchy witch made it impossible to relax so I just went to bed after that. so can someone possibly enplane to me what happened.

It sounds like you got distracted as you were entering the trance state. As your body calms down, it's very normal for twitches and itches to start getting in the way. You just have to keep practicing at it. The more you enter trance, the more normal it becomes and those little annoyances either go away or are easy to ignore. Sounds like your on the right track.

It's really good to know that I'm on the right track and that enplanes that part but what about the other thing. why did I get scared for no reason after starting to relax and why did I against my will start saying "holy light" over and over in my head?

I would guess because something new that you've never experienced before was happening. You may have certain expectations, but in reality it's still an unknown to you. I think pretty much everyone gets filled with fear their first few experiences. Getting over it is a part of the process.
