This morning I decided to try and Astral project.
I successfully got out of my body and walked forwards a few metres to look back at my physical body.
I was pretty sure I projected since it didn't feel like a Lucid Dream. However, after that, I jumped out of my window. For some strange reason the projection suddenly turned into a Lucid Dream.

Do you know why this happened?

I think its because my Lucid Dreams usually start in my bedroom and the first thing I tend to do is jump out of my window. Maybe my mind made that association and produced a dream.

Any thoughts?

What makes you think it "turned into" a lucid dream?
What cues or signs did you see/feel?

I'm curious myself. Sometimes when the environment changes it means you've slipped from the RTZ into the astral.

Well as soon as I jumped out of the window, the 'Astral' feelings left and was replaced by the feeling I get with Lucid Dreams. I then saw multiple dream characters which I interacted with. I felt myself waking up so I rubbed my hands together which made the dream last a while longer.

Perhaps the entire thing was a dream?

It sounds like the entire thing may have been a very convincing lucid dream?
Although I'm pretty new to this so what do I know
Bring into play the divine within you, so on the stage of life you can fulfill your high destined role.

Or perhaps the entire thing as an AP.  :)
Go with your gut instinct.
