Astral projection that others can see?

I'm assuming this is considered astral projection but I have no awareness of it happening:

Since my late teens, 3 people I've been close to (including my sister) have woken up from sleep to see me near the foot of their bed or sitting on their bed. Its occurred at times when I've been asleep elsewhere and they didn't know anyone else has had a similar experience. My sister has said it has happened at few times and always tells me about it afterward and I have no memory of it.

The first time it happened I was away serving as a counselor at a camp and she woke up and I was petting her cat on her bed, she said she asked why I was in her room and then remembered I was at camp and freaked out.

Another time in college, I woke up to my roommate/best friend yelling at someone across the hall. When I went into her room she told me that she was woken up to me sitting on her bed and looking away at her wall and then she tried talking to me but I didnt' look at her and she started yelling at me to stop because it was scaring her. Then (while she yelled) I slid down to the ground and was gone (around the same time I was woken up across the hall).  I ran into her room awake to find her pretty upset.

What is this? Is it astral projection if I have no consciousness of it when I wake up?

Many people believe that sometimes during dreams the dreamer is actually out of their physical body yet is unaware of it. In these events the dreamer either remembers their experience as a dream and never realizes that he or she has had an OBE or they completely forget about the experience altogether.
This May have been what happened you as you might have been both dreaming and out of body at the same time but failed to remember anything about it later when awake.
