Someone trying to tell me something?

I've been lurking around here for a while, reading posts and such, and I've finally decided to see if anyone has any ideas on a strange thing that happened to me.
About 3 years ago I was meditating on a daily basis, having lucid dreams, obe's (though never a concious one), etc. I would meditate, the vibrations would be there, but I could never quite get out, so I would roll over, go to sleep, and then have an obe.
Well, one nite after this process, I "woke" up, and felt like I was floating on top of ocean waves. I don't remember being able to see anything, but someone or something was talking to me. I wasn't scared at all, as it wasn't anything nasty, but whatever it was telling me was super important. Of course, after I came out of it, I couldn't remember a word of what it told me. I figure when the time is right, I'll probably know what I was being told.
So, anyone have anything like this happen, or any ideas on what or who it might have been?
