Ok so, a regular AP session for me is like this:

I put some headphones on and listen to some Binural Beats at 5.5/6.5 hz and I start to just relax (while in bed)

I then get a falling sensation a couple minutes later and get a buzzing feeling, but at that point I start to drift away,
making me fall asleep.

I haven't had many successful APs, only about 4 out of about 50 are succesful. 2 out of those 4 were on accident.

Any tips on how I can get better at not drifting away?

I don't do try to do it randomly during the day, I find that very hard to do. Rather, I just go to bed like I normally would and let myself drift off to sleep. But right before I fall asleep I catch myself in my mind to make sure that I don't fall into dream land. Sometimes by then my body will be asleep and it would only take a little longer until the vibrations come

What do you mean by this?

How were they by accident?

SirMike

By that, I mean not on purpose.

Don't try to project in bed. You train yourself all your life that bed is for SLEEPING! Lay on the floor or go to another room and try to AP from a comfortable chair.
