Well since you claim to have tried, i'll answer your questions as best i can, although take note that i've never actually been out of my body before.

People who are clairvoyant, or "in-tune" with the astral may be able to see your astral body, but those who aren't probably couldn't see you.

Yes, you could project with a friend and you could both see each other's astral bodies.

I can't answer the last question.

Remember though, the best way to answer questions like these is experience. Once you can project you can answer all of these questions yourself, and gain a much better understanding of the answers.
