does anyone have any accounts of unusual projections into astral kingdoms or lands they can share or post link to?

One I had a while back: I was in a futuristic city with androgynous beings that kind of looked like Freakazoid:

They were all walking around and seemed to either not notice me or ignoring me. The city had a lot of tall sharp-edged buidings with no doors or windows, and even seemed maze-like high in the sky. One of the beings kept trying to get my attention, like I should chase it, so I did. At first we were running on the ground, then it jumped and started flying, zig-zagging through the buildings and going higher and higher. I was so focused on trying to get him/her, that I didn't even notice we were high above everything. Then we left the atmosphere and into space. At one point I noticed I was so far out that there was nothing to land on, just endless space and stars. As I'm just floating there and looking around in awe, "zschoooooomm!!!", he/her went flying by me a million miles an hour and I zoom off after it again.

The end.

Is that what you were looking for? I have experienced futuristic cities like this often, but that one was memorable. I believe it was all just a projection of my self (as most are), but a lesson none the less.

I once went to a place where I was looking down into a big expanse of water. When I dived in everything went all bright colours and there were the waterbabies! LOL I realised that I was one too and it was a wonderful place to live.

Another, more recent, dream I had was being in a sort of small spaceship and we were landing on the moon or somewhere. We were investigating the rocky place, but when we landed we found there was life there and green firldsm roads and houses. Each of us, (about 10 of us), were assigned a native who would show us around. There were like motorways but no cars. Instead, people were running up and down them very fast as this allowed you to create and go to anywhere you wanted. I went to a martial arts land, and then came back with my 'guide' and met up with my initial 'explorers' to go back home.

You're not being very specific when referring to these "astral kingdoms". The astral is a big place and many people have different names for the places within it. If I'm right I think you're talking about the higher-ish astral places where people who are physically dead go to live sometimes. I won't describe any specific instances of me going there, but I will describe what it is like. The people there are friendly, joyful, serious as well but in a determined and relaxed way. This is much more pleasant than the people you'll find in the lower or near-physical astral locations, who are often downright rude and unaccomadating.

The places themselves are like something from a fantasy painting or an idea of heaven taken from a movie (note I said "idea"). The locales are breathtakingly beautiful and clearly crafted to be a "perfect" version of our world here. Instead of concrete cities full of fumes and grime, plantlife flourishes and there are trees and flowers of every colour in just about every direction. The few buildings that exist are humble little things, and the large skyscraper-ish ones tend to be used in moderation too. I once saw what look like a few dozen skyscrapers surrounded by an all-green forest. Think of teleporting about a square mile of New York skyscrapers into a vast Canadian forest. Natural beauties like mountains, skylines, waterfalls are also a lot more impressive. Often they are large, of various colours and intensities.

These places can overload the senses with positive energy and make them become live, so you'll most likely feel more awake in these places than you do here.

Speaking of the senses, let's not forget about the extra-physical senses. These places feel calming but exciting at the same time. A pure hybrid of excitement, happiness, a sense of belonging, wonder, beauty... all of those. It's certainly a very nice break for those who have escaped the physical.

Note I used the word "heaven" above, but by no means do I proclaim that these places are "the" heaven. Heaven is a word which we are limited to due to our language and culture, and it also has various meanings to different people. I am using here to denote a places that is idealistic, nothing more.

This is an OBE/AP that I had back last winter. I posted it in the "Out of Body Experience" forum  and here is the link ---
