Hi All,

I thought i'd share with you a weird AP attempt
I had another attempt this morning to consciously exit my body. I woke up at 5:28 am, looking at my alarm clock thinking to myself ("I need to get up soon, I think I'll try to project"). Then I realized on top of my alarm clock a monitor screen with the letters "fghi hihihihhihihihihhihi". When i started reading the "hihihihhihihihihhihi" the letters started to resonate and ring in my head. The letters glowed and grew bigger. A sudden rush of vibrations started, the most intense I've had. During this time, i could hear telephone buttons being dialed. It felt like this lasted for a good 30 seconds then dissipated into smaller vibrations.... like aftershocks. Then I awoke, at 5:30am.

has anyone experienced this before? Is this similar to the alarm clock technique?

sounds to me like the repetitive hi had a sort of mantra affect on you while resonating your energy body.  Another way of tuning the vibes...the result of the growing letters was probably symbolic of increasing intensity...and the tele? hmm I would venture to guess that is somehow like dialing into the "astral".  After the number are dialed there is a connection between to places...on real phone that is :)

I have experienced something similar, I believe it's our subconscious intention of attuning our consciousness through whichever means is readily available.

The alarm clock technique...there are two I believe.  If you are in the astral then its looking at the clock to see the numbers are skewed and flickering..not making any sense(to wake up in your dream)  The other is using the alarm clock to wake you up periodically during the night to keep you on the light sleep..bordering wake and sleep.  Keeping that astral body loose while mind awake!

Thanks for the very insightful reply. Most of the times i get the vibes from starting to relax and after 15 - 20 minutes of relaxation. I think i did the second version of the alarm clock technique where i kept waking up and my astral body was maybe loose, but  by accident. This would explain why i felt the vibes straight away.

But do you think the letters mean anything because they look like random letters to me?

The more i think about, the more harder it is whether i did wake at 5:28am or if i dreamt that???? Cos as soon as i looked at my alarm clock, the letters appeared and resonated. But all i know is i woke up at 5:30am.

Again thanks for the reply Vvid1012

So you are confused as to which is reality :)

I'm not exactly sure what you are explaining, but Im taking the 5:28 segment as a Realtime projection.. I've "woke" several times to check the time and never physically check it..it's a very subtle difference (at least for us).  I guess my question is..were those letters still on your monitor when you physically woke?

The way I took the "hihihi.."  is the I sound in the word 'hi' (which is a very positive word in itself) generates a particular tone that may resonate with your body... which is why you would feel the vibrations after reading it.  That's all I get from it...but don't take it from me, I was not experiencing it.  Try to rely on your gut feeling.  What did it mean to you?  How did you feel?  Maybe in time it'll make more sense :)

Thanks Vivid, maybe in time i will understand

very interesting...cool points vivid - about the hi.

Yeah!! I've also experienced the ringing sounds right before an obe once...

It sounded very electronic to me too...quite similar to how you described it as a "phone" dialing. At the time, I thought sounded like techno, like the sound neo heard when he entered the matrix, only backwards. Instead of fast and moving to slow like in the movie...the waves of sound went from slow to fast at a perfect climbing interval. Then once the sounds climaxed I floated out. My vision was also dark during this particular experience too...the only thing I made out was a "pentagram" looking symbol with an S in the middle of the circle. The S resembled the "Starter" logo. Then I returned to my body.
When I returned to my body I wasn't hearing anymore sounds, but the pillow seemed to breathe, for lack of a better word. I could feel it move up and down a few times with my head on top and arm below...I may have been in sleep paralysis during this but after about 4 pillow breaths I got up quickly to look down at my pillow and all was normal.
That was my second obe.

Cool experience with the alarm clock that sounds pretty wierd.
my brains are scrambled. my head's an egg.

WoW ... thats sounds like a pretty cool experience. At least you were able to get out of your body, i still have trouble with that part. I think most of the times now i know when i can get the vibes. If i wake up in the middle of the night and try an obe, i get vibes gut no exit.
What you described about the phone dialing was like mine and you are right about making the reference to Neo. It did feel a bit like that

With the breathing pillow part maybe you were dreaming that you were sleeping on sum1...who knows....
But great work on the second OBE, its always interesting to read other peoples OBE and read about the symbols they see during their experiences.
