Heh, might well be, i was too high up at the time to be able to make out if there was a pyramid or not, and ive never seen that picture so i wasnt actively looking for one. looks about the same size though.

I've had alot of islands in my dreams lately.. infact i think its the same one in each dream, its alot bigger than the one on that picture and in my AP though.

Cheers for the reply, there was enough info on the forum and what Ive read in the past to make me instantly realise what was going on at the time but its good to get opinions of others on the matter.

Im just happy it happened. Its like conformation to me. And now ive got alot more motivation for the subject.

Hey all, Ive just had a very strange experience.

Last night i got in late from a friends house, I ended up looking through the forums and didnt get to sleep till about 3am. Id been reading about the mind awake, body asleep method along with other posts.
When i went to bed i started to practice the method but i was way to tired and must of fell asleep. The next thing i remember im dreaming, although i cant remember what of exactly. I believe i was in that state where your about to wake up but your still dreaming.

Suddenly for some reason i got a thought about the mind awake, body asleep method (i think it could of been part of my dream) and i decided to do it (as i said im not sure whether this was part of my dream like i was lucid or this was actually me on the verge of waking and i was thinking it). I thought the statement "mind awake, body asleep" and said it in my head only once and then it all kicked off.

I heard a very loud noise like that whistling you get if you listen to music too loud. It was as if a grenade had gone off beside me. I felt a strong sensation all over my body like a very strong wind, and i could also here a sound like water crashing onto rocks above me.. as if i was underwater it was like thunder. It was all nearly deafening and took me by suprise. While all the noise was around me i suddenly felt myself falling and i got vision.
I found myself falling through what looked like cloud, the wind sound seemed to tie in with me dropping like a brick lol. Then i seemed to pierce the bottom of the cloud and i saw what looked to be an island below, for a second the colours where amazingly vivid, i could see golden sand and the sea around it, trees on the island etc.
But i could also feel my actual body aswell, i could feel my teeth clenching and i tried to fight it by opening my mouth this stopped the experience and i seemed to return/wake. For a few seconds i couldnt move and i still had the buzzing in my ears, i could feel the hairs all over my body standing on end and my whole body was tingling.

It felt even stranger actually when i woke and realised there wernt road works going on in my bedroom or sumthing. lol.

And that was my experience it only lasted a few seconds and after it i quickly written it down on scrap paper, sorry if i babbled abit but i was excited, never had anything like that happen before.
