felt a presence

Well i think reasonnably that if you asked for a guide, it was probably him, waiting for you to get out. Maybe he felt that you had felt him, so he vanished as he might think he would have scared you in the exit (though apparently it wasn't the case).

This morning I was meditating right after I woke up, as I've heard doing it at that time will assist the projection process.  I knew it wasn't a successful attempt, but several odd things happened that I haven't encountered before.
First of all, I tend to get the rings of white light eminating from my third eye away from me.  They used to disrupt me, but then I learned to back off - but today, they were coming towards me!  So i'm thinking maybe by reversing the process, it's actually a tunnel being created?  what does everyone think?
And also, I only made this post because of something I just remembered.  I felt a presence in the room at one point during the process.  I wasn't just imagining it - my friend, who is my guide in the physical plane, told me that if something is there, you'll know.  Well I knew - I don't know if it was my Spirit Guide or what, because I had been asking for help exiting and thinking about a guide at the time.  The presence was only there for a few seconds before it went away and I faded out...
Whatever or whoever it was didn't scare me and i wasn't uncomfortable with the presence being there - although it was a bit of a shock because the realization hit me so suddenly
