Wow. I actually did it.

I'm 18 years old, and I've been trying to astral project on and off since I was 13. I have times where I do everything, every type of recommended methods of getting out. And then after awhile I get frustrated and give up and in a few months, I come back to it.
So in this last cycle of being "off" of the astral projection attempts, it happened.
I've had a few experiences where I thought that I got out, but I always kind of sloughed it off as a dream. It's always the same thing though. I kind of fall off the side of my bed, I can't see very well, I'm really dizzy and whenever I stand up I always fall over again. I've always thought these were just me dreaming of projecting. It turns out, they weren't.

Okay, so this is going to sound weird of how I learned that it actually happened- but hey, different people find out in different ways. :)
So today last night I worked late, but I had to wake up early this morning to mail a letter. So when I got home from the post office, I went back to sleep for a few hours.
Today I was expecting a package. A brand new laptop which I had bought for college next year (Which I am using right now actually, and it is awesome! ;)) So I've been waiting for a week for this thing, and I couldn't wait for it to get here. But my parents told me that it probably wouldn't be in until later in the afternoon, so I figured it would be okay to go to sleep for a little while.
But a little while later, while I was sleeping, I heard a vehicle drive up. So in what I thought was a dream, I sat up and looked out through my window and saw the UPS truck in the driveway. But in that I thought to myself "Oh man. I'm such a loser, I'm actually dreaming about getting my laptop." and then before I knew it, I was on the floor again in my little "OBE dream" that I had so often. But I decided to play off it. This one was different though. I could see better. I remember standing up and feeling like I banged my head on my piano on the other side of the room, but it didn't hurt. Then I looked in my mirror and I actually saw myself on the bed sleeping. It was pretty dang weird. For some reason, I went to look at the time on my cell phone. It said 9:35am.
I noticed whenever I came went closer to my body, it made my head hurt so badly. Just like this incredible huge pressure/tension kind of thing. And since I still thought I was in a dream, I decided to have some fun with it. I decided that I was just going to go up through my ceiling and sit on my roof. So I stood on my bed and jumped, and I felt my head and shoulders go through the ceiling, but I didn't get any farther than that.
Then I kind of like half woke up and then continued sleeping.
I woke up a little before noon. And as I walked out of my room I thought "Wow, that was a cool dream. Wouldn't that be crazy if that was an OBE and my computer actually was here?" and as soon as I finished that thought, I turned the corner, and saw a big brown box sitting on my mom's office desk.
So I asked my mom "Hey, what time did UPS come by?"
and she said "Oh, like 9:30 or so."
There were like firecrackers going on in my head. I could not believe it.
Like I wasn't even trying, it just happened. And now I know that it's happened before, I've just never known it.
I think it's a pretty cool thing. :)

Hey, that's great. But it still could have been coincidence. For me, I'd wanr to know if the van driver matched the appearance of what I'd seen.

But it still doesn't mean it wasn't real. :)

Congratulations.  I am sure you did it.

Hallo Jessikuh
I'd say that was an OBE fer sure! Nice  :-)
That is also a good example of how unconscious desire can work. You wanted to go out of body and were expecting the laptop to be delivered. Those desires combined to induce the OBE And provide some validation to boot. :-D
