Hello everyone ,let me tell you of a experience of mine when i was about 5 or 6 years old. Before falling to sleep and sometimes waking up i felt like the bed or the room it self was spinning. One night after falling asleep on my back i became conscious and saw myself on the bed which at the time i thought was in the  roof because of my last visual lying on my back so i panic, because i knew it wasn't possible to be on the bed in the roof without falling and awoke  screaming and crying while removing every layer of sheets in on attempt to hang on.Its was't until a few years ago that i realized that i had a OOBE,clearly because i was looking at myself from the roof, because i when to sleep on my back when i became conscious out of my body in the roof i thought i was still lying on my back which gave the impression that i was on the bed in the roof when i saw myself.I think thats when the spinning sensations stop and was wondering if anyone had similar experiences? Or could a rotating bed trigger a OOBE or LD?

Hello superlite009,

yeah, I had the spinning bed/spinning room thing several times as a child. It's what we generally recognize these days as "energy body sensations" or "exit sensations", both indicative of an impending OOBE. A great signpost if you know to stay calm and ride it out.

For a child, with little understanding or perspective, it can be very confusing and frightening. My thinking is that the bed gets included as part of the experience simply because the child's mind is trying anything it can to rationalize the experience and keep it within its sphere of understanding.

It was experiences like that which put me on this path of discovery.

And welcome to the Forum!

I had this years ago. Instead of my bed spinning, however, it shook really violent, as if there was a furious localized earthquake.

But as I've grown older and went through some other stuff, I realized it was SP and projection related.
