Astral Pulse Island Weekend

Hello All

I have been very remiss and totally missed September's Island Weekend - a thousand apologies.

However, to make up for it, I thought we'd try two weekends in October. Are we all up for it?

I know I am.

All those who are, put their hands in the air. Don't be scared

- we'll have a ball!!

So, the first weekend is going to be this coming weekend, i.e. Friday 30th September - Monday 3rd October 2005.

That is Friday 30th September - Monday 3rd October 2005.

I'll bring the ice cream to keep us cool.

I'm gonna give it a go and try phasing. I've finally worked out how to get into the "mind awake body asleep" without actually falling asleep and waking up in that state, so next step is to try phasing to the island.

Sounds about right? All I've been doing so far is trying to get up and walk around my room, so I figure I'll try something different this time (I keep being able to float up but my head stays stuck)

same for me, out of all the prior weekends since I joined this site now is my best shot so far at actually making it, but whether I will or not is up to chance. Hope to see you there Sarah!

If I get sleep paralysis that night, I'll give it a shot. Never phased before, but SP can give me a free go at that sort of thing. Not like I'll be doing anything else while I'm asleep.

So no one tried this weekend???

I did! I got into the mind awake/body asleep (this was around 7am Saturday, EST). Then I tried the phasing, IE imagining the island hoping to get there.

I was just on like a sanddune with lots of weeds walking around calling to Selski (

) coz thats the only person I could remember.

Saw some guy with a beard walking along but then instead of waking myself up I think I drifted off into a dream

I did too! I went last night. I'll write it up tomorrow, as I'm pushed for time tonight.

I did meet another AP member, but I'll be damned if they would tell me who they were, and I couldn't "pick up" who it was, although I have an inkling... he was male, so it wasn't you laiana.

It's the first time I've been where there's been some 'activity' - it made a nice change

I'll keep it brief.

There were candles lit from the jetty towards the middle of the island, through the trees.

I came in at the side, from the sea - I'd been swimming underwater and popped up, finding myself on an island with a huge whacking pyramid in the middle of it - ta-da! I'm on the Astral Pulse Island.

It was dark. Someone wrapped a towel around my shoulders as I stood at the edge and as I turned to thank them, there was no-one there

I followed the candles and there was a party going on in the middle. A fire was roaring and lots of people were chatting, dancing, drinking and generally having fun. Instinctively I knew these were resident Islanders, not AP members. I could only perceive one of the Islanders with any clarity. She was youngish, late 20s perhaps, friendly and pretty, but the most striking thing about her was her hair. It was long and dark blonde, but the thing about it was the thickness. It was wavy and just glowing with health and vitality.

She came over to me and handed me a drink. I looked at it. It was some kind of thick pink liquid. At first I wasn't sure about it, but then thought what the heck and drank it.

I went off to wander around the island to look for other members from the Forums. She gave me some sort of candle as it was so dark.

I did meet another member at the back of the island. He was standing towards the pyramid. We chatted a while, went back to the party, sat away from the islanders (they're a funny lot - very friendly, but they treat us members with a lot of amusement - they even said laughing, "oh leave those two to themselves, they're the pulse people").

We had another chat, I tried to work out who it was, but failed, although I have a sneak, but I won't reveal who I think it is because I want them to contact me. There is another reason as to why I have a hunch, but I'm not revealing that either - again, they'll need to contact me and tell me what we shared at the back of the island. No, it's nothing rude before any of you start getting the wrong idea...

There's more that happened, but little things not really worth mentioning. Actually, the person I met was also wearing a particular kind of hat - so if anyone remembers dreaming about this or anything at all, please PM me with what hat you were wearing and what we shared...

If I get any positive feedback, I'll let you all know.

Oh yes, I hadn't thought of that Scorpyn. I bumped it so that those who go for the "show posts since last visit" would get it again
