Astral Pulse Island

Hi to all !,
     I realize this subject could be a tad cheeky for a second time post but
does anyone else think a massive stone monument occupying the lion's share
of real estate on the island is unfriendly to OBErs? Just from a emotional
point of view Egyptian style pyramids bring to mind; tomb raiders, curses/ mummies after the tomb raiders, dead & sacrificed things and several thousand years of dust.  It's also someone burial chamber - which is taboo
both above & below the conscious level.
    So why pick a stone pyramid? Is it protective?- maybe too much. Does it act as a large distinctive landmark to travelers?- so would the Golden Arches
of McDonald's hamburgers. I'm curious to know why that landmark would be selected. The island idea is totally inspired. Sand & ocean are so  relaxing.
    So IF the pyramid is both protective & a landmark , perhaps a alternative
item might work better. A really large fluffy pillow with a big blue circle on
it for landing. Or if you're coming by sea, a welcome to A P island flag w/
a smiley face on it.  Or if you're instantly appearing a helpful concierge in the lobby of a tropical style hotel would say " Welcome to A P island if you need any thing just let me know." Then he hands you his contact card which you need only pull out & look at to call him/her
  What do you think? Any ideas?

Ideas:

1. a tall crystal obelisk, shining and sparkling in the tropical sun; so bright that it can be seen from a distance and serve well to show the visitors of the island where it is located. And, the symbol of a pyramid/an eye/something (ideas are welcome) engraved in the top part of it.

2. an ancient oak tree, very much like the tree of life, with starlike shining formations floating slowly among its calming, green leaves. And, when the wind is blowing through its branches, the leaves rustle slightly, joining in what seems to be a quiet, eternal song.

I really like the crystal obelisk idea, (as long as the power emanating from lt was not too overwhelming- some can really fry your socks) and it would be visible from long distances. The oak tree is great  but it might be harder to discern from the other foliage on the island- unless it was really HUGE and in a clearing. Both ideas are peaceful serene images that would be fun & pleasant to pop into.

However, I would like to hear also thoughts of other people. What do you all think of the giant pyramid?
If I imagine the island without a pyramid, will I be going to the right locale, or creating my own?

To continue the obelisk idea... At the foot of it there might be a group of ancient Greece style open temples, arranged in a circle, and connected with a white path, which could be decorated with flower vases/flowerbeds/standing marble torches - this could be like a meeting place for us all.

Said pyramid doesn't have a reflection which could be why people are getting hung up.

history reference mentions that the Egyptian pyramids had a polished granite surface. (At least the cap stones)

I thought the original idea of the pyramid center piece was inspiring.

Perhaps a suggestion to consider "restoring" the way the pyramid builders had originally in-visioned how the pyramid surface would look.

The entire pyramid of polished surface, with symbology inlay, a crystal cap stone, the structure perhaps containing inner chambers (rooms, libraries) and port alignments to celestial objects for example.

The idea being, to build on the original concept.

But the pyramid is still SO huge, compared to the island... We could make it look smaller from the outside, but an infinite storage of knowledge inside!

I'm still reading the Astral Locale thread, that's a long one!

The photo image works very well, and is easy to visualize, so I'd imagine that as a group, the success of everyone visualizing the same scenery is greater.

Reflective waters surface, white sand beach tropical jungle, pyramid, blue sky. Very distinctive uncomplicated combination, and hard to miss.

In this respect, the pyramid is a landmark, easy to identify.

As a new person here, the idea of a project like this is very interesting of course. I hope that someday I'll be able to visit.
