What book would you recommend, for someone that wants to learn about astral projection but not so much about religion and the energies? :) PEACE TO all of you - Hugs edwin

Otherwhere by Kurt Leland, if you want an informational book, or if a 'how to' guide, Mastering Astral Projection.

Here is a great reference site on Astral Travel. It has tons of info from all the leading research and researchers who have experienced it. http://www.answers.com/topic/out-of-body-experience
Enjoy!  :-)

I recommend almost any book that helps you program your mind for success. Just don't get caught up with all the many techniques out there. Experiment and find out what works for you. When I was first starting I read a lot of books, listened to a lot of videos and ended up totally confused. I was doing deep breathing, then progressive relaxation, some kundalini, Robert Bruce's NEW tech and a visual walkthrough, then the rope technique. I did all those steps every time I practiced projecting. But, it definitely did keep my mind busy. Now I close my eyes and Phase in minutes, no need for all the preparation. I wish I could have figured that out much earlier, but all those things I learned helped me progress along. The most important I find is belief, you can not doubt this, even for a second. You must know and believe that you can and will be successful.
Good Luck and Safe Travels  :-)
