I had not heard of either the book or the author before so after reading what you wrote, I went to Amazon and saw where he has written a number of popular books. The readers poll rates this book very highly also.

Highly reccomend it.

Songs of Earth and Powerby Greg Bear

After reading it I got excited again about AP. Read it a few months back and since then I began to do my AP/OBE excercises again. I'm starting to see progress this time. So I am grateful to this novel for getting me excited about AP again.
